Many threads have shown up of people complaining of new units (dragoons and all the collectors seem to be the primary targets)

who agrees with me that the units are fine as is?
or are you one of the namby pambies who wants to change them, what would you change namby pambies?

Dragoon, yes it's fine as is.
Collectors, no, because they are gold hard on silver difficulty.

The ramped up difficulty is fine for everyone who got so used to everything that they lost interest in even playing.

...everyone else, however, is at a disadvantage. I'll admit that I'm not the best of players out there. Unless I'm rocking my Drell Adept I flail about on most Gold games. Now it almost feels like I need to learn how to play again. Ironically, the Collectors have been the only forgiving, stable element in this shift.

Only a little nerf to the Bomber and Dragoon are in order. The bomber should likely go one of two paths, being a fast glass cannon that will fly over you in a flash, drop some grenades, and then die immidiately because a swarmer sneezed at it, or it's speed and agility should reflect the fact that it has two layers of protection and it should be slower, perhaps lobbing grenades over a distance.

The Dragoon is mostly fine. Spawn rates could stand to be lowered, though. One Dragoon is easy, a pack of them is another story entirely.

Ummm, no, not exactly. I've done numerous platinum runs vs collectors tonight and I can safely say, once you crack the whole thing about shooting the possessed abominations before they get to you they aren't too difficult to handle.

Granted, I haven't played them on silver, but I assume silver is silver....

I think maybe the scions need to tone it down with thier multi-frags, but other than that collecters are fine. I havent beat them with my freinds yet, but I'm sure once we get used to them we'll be fine, plus we were mainly joking around and trying to experince everything. And since thats what most people are doing, any nerf decisions made right now would be completly stupid to do

I haven't seen the direct cause of this, but I am being staggered out of my mind when I play Cerberus, and I have a feeling it may have something to do with Dragoons.

I hate the staggering mechanic since it pretty much leaves you entirely defenseless for 5 seconds, unable to use ANY powers or even an Ops pack, so any enemy that does such a thing has my negatory vote.

They're not that hard, you just need the right character... someone good against organics/barriers like a Fury, QFE, etc.

The Collectors are awesome, it's like a mix of every other faction with that unique possession ability.

Dragoons though, they are overpowered. They can execute, are fast, highly agressive, are armored, can jump, and fire weapons quickly. They would be balanced if they were slower and lost the baility to execute.

I have no problem with the enemies other than the usual complaint of geth having to many stun capable attacks/geth prime and rocket trooper missiles in particular. The new units arent much trouble and the collecters play similiar to reapers (I know technically they are reaper troops).

Collectors are anti-campers. They throw grenades like crazy, and the scion throws clusters. It's funny watching everyone on my team die because they want to sit behind a wall and try to snipe. People are complaining because they are forced to move around. If you group together to close in the later waves, you will get facerolled by grenades and swarms. I had to solo wave8 and 9 because of that. (in RIO) My team cant camping in the middle and became stuck in the revive and die routine. lol

We got a full extraction but they CANT stay in one spot too long. Especially when possessed abominations roll through unexpected. LOL

I think people need to actually get used to the units before asking for a nerf on day 1.

Geth, Cerb, and Reapers are fine the way they are. I like the new challenge. Collectors, however, seem a bit overdone. Specifically the Scion has far more armor than reasonable. It's gotten to ridiculous points on Gold alone. The only adjustment I would say is decrease scion by 20% armor, and praetorian by about 10% armor. That's all.

collector camping... Challenge accepted and completed with only two people mobile with one. Collectors are just enough to put me on my toes

They do not have too much armor, just debuff them with incinerate/homing grenades/cryo etc. They are just heavier ravagers.

No people who are on silver just arent ready for silver yet

Umm, excuse me... you've got to be kidding right?  I play silver exclusively and it's comments like these that make   me actually laugh out loud.... bitterly.  Let me help you out here...

SOME people who are on silver just aren't ready for silver yet.  Don't lump us all together.

The collectors are new, so new tactics and strategies are needed.  After unlocking the havoc soldier, me and my b/f took him in for practise against the collectors on bronze and we died shamelessy!  I couldn't believe how strong they were as well as sussing out their units and attacks.

Even on silver the collectors are a challenge.  Especially with escort missions (I'm looking at you Dagger!!  Especially with the weather change!!)  But with practise and a good team, they are easily defeated.

Do they need nerfing?  Hell no.  I think they are at a perfect level for silver.  We just need to get used to them and adjust our mindsets and tactics.   Then it's all gravy.

The only thing I don't like about the Dragoon is how he knows where I'm gonna teleport/quick evade to even before I hit the button

This, I ran solo with a Destoryer and a Collector SMG. Granted it was only on Silver, it still felt easy compared to the Reapers.
