aaaaaah! my screen freezes while loading after defeating the sloth demon on dragon age origins ps3!

I had a pre-owned disk so i took it back and got a new one because each time i defeated the sloth demon in the fade Niall would talk to me and then loading screen would come up. Its all fine until it freezes half way through loading. I have to restart the playstation 3. The big problem is is that it does the same on my new disk. I think its a bug or a glitch. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop it because i cant continue on!

oh its just I didn't know which sloth you mean cause theres 2 sloths you may encounted, one in circle of magi or one in the harrowing. I thought that mayb you were referring to the harrowing and you didn't realise something. ehh hence I editted my post.

i haven't had this happen yet but only thing i could say is you should have auto save on so you don't need to back track

Actually, this is the exact same problem I had--although technically I think you forgot to mention that it's actually right after you fight duncan, right, when you're first going to see Niall.
In my case, it actually set my HDD over. So my Hard Drive died because it was loading Niall and autosaving at the same time.

Here's an odd tip: My game freezes A LOT; but all I do is press the PS button to bring up the XMB. When I press the PS button again to get back to the game--abracadabra--no more freeze.
Not sure if it will work for you, but it works for me every time.
