Player Shield/Healthgate removal is the worst thing to happen since the Vangaurd Glitch.

Totally agree. I get the feeling that it's not intentional because, as seen in the posted YouTube vids, it all appears wonky (off, somewhat random, etc.).
Whether intentional or not, some acknowledgement either way would be fantastic.

The game is MUCH harder now esp with the new cover flushing units
Means more time out of cover, getting shot
More deaths
More medigels

And again they are still there you can save an atlas and step out into his volley to test this. The problem is they don't have a split second CD anymore so any rapid fire weapons take players down faster than ever. Doesn't sound like much but in essence shield and health gate do not exist against rapid fire enemies. Step out in front of a lone Marauder and see what happens.

I think I noticed initially because I play Cerberus Adepts / Vanguards, and seeing as I don't like wall smashing I tend to get shot seven ways to sunday. Hopefully we will get a comment soon - even an acknowledgement or statement that the bug will be looked at.

hello !!!? what has changed is new enemies units and new faction ! not gating system
just because you don't know the patterns of new enemies and die more you need an excuse huh ?
what's with people talking about rapid firing weapon now killing you faster, marauders and such never gave a **** about gating system and have always been priority targets
i'm not ignoring the fact that people struggle, i'm merely stating this is not the reason for their struggle
