Player Shield/Healthgate removal is the worst thing to happen since the Vangaurd Glitch.

Perhaps it's about the death animation fix which cause you to feel like surviving but the host think otherwise and you suddenly drop dead.

Health- and Shieldgate themselves working as intended. Currently the missing invicibility frames seem like a plausible cause for the different feel.
I'll probably record my games later today to analyze them afterwards.

I had to resort to 'kill stealing' in order to survive, usually I do care to not charge enemies already being delt with by my teammates. I got so paranoid that I kept shooting a already dead marauder until my teammate reminds me 'Whoa, it's dead already'.
Adept? I can adept to a lot of things. But this is just unfair, if it was implemented intentional. If I go down, I want to know why. If I use a gel, I don't want to find myself a splitsecond later reduced to a tiny slice of health left.

Try me? Ok. Yesterday and the day before, I played Gold and saved 3.000000 million. It was FUN. I did not need (get it--N-E-E-D?) so MANY consumables doing that. NOW I DO.
Today, it is V-E-R-Y difficult even getting to Wave 10, NEVER MIND full-squad extractions.
And another thing...
Whereas post new DLC, squadmates in the PUB lobby not using equipment, well, was negotiable when certain factors (i.e., N7 rating, weapon levels, character LVL etc.) were considered; now, considering how ridiculously difficult the game (Gold) has "suddenly become", this has had to change (i.e., No consummables--destined-to-die--no thankyou--please leave). Which, in many instances, causes ugliness and unpleasantries to be exchanged.
You think I like THIS? This "less win, but more lose" play change?
Clearly, if you do, you are either disturbed, delusional, or logically handicapped.
And, for the record, I dislike immensely the whole "Rah-bollocks-rah- adapt", or " Boo-hoo- Man up" mentality. It is gross, vulgar and Neanderthal.

I guess with the dead camera fixed, the damage immunity given by shield and health gate (a minor immunity for sure, less than a second, but a god sent nevertheless), without this minor immunity we are dropping dead on a single and powerful weapon burst.

Silver definitely doesn't seem to be any harder than before to me. But then, I never really depended on the shieldgate due to my playstyle anyway.

All I know is that I was farming yesterday just fine and being constantly on healthgate on my vanguards whenever I solo-zerged into major groups.

That's what I think, at least. It's always the rapid-fire weapons that kill me faster than I was expecting., and an individual shot from a nemesis never takes out health as well as shields or kills me outright.
