Player Shield/Healthgate removal is the worst thing to happen since the Vangaurd Glitch.

This may not be gamebreaking, but it is annoying/obnoxious and should be reversed ASAP. As someone else has already said (I forget who), if this was the fix for the Vanguard Glitch, we were better off having the Vanguard Glitch. I didn't complain when the Missile Glitch was patched by removing the delay on missiles because that change was good all-around. This hurts us (a lot, and yes that was a reference to Harbinger), it went way too far, is in no-way called for, and what we're getting just isn't worth the price.

I know what you mean, i've been playing on silver and is incredibly hard, sometime i wondre if i had put points in fitness.

If they are going to remove our shield gate, they sould do the same with the enemies.

If that is the case, why doesn't it apply to the Guardian who fires 6 pellets per shot and should, by your definition, now ignore the gates?

Do you see something like shieldgate or healthgate? I did not.
Now look at another his video, which he makes in August. There are many moments like this but look at 4:50 - 4:57.

He was meleed by Marauder, shieldgate was triggered, and despite he was clearly under fire of Marauder and Cannibal, his health does not going down. After that he used Ops pack and right after he started to receive damage to his barriers by enemy fire.
I think that difference is quite clear.

2:32 you clearly see that there IS healthgate.
So what does this means with conjuction of 1:30? Like I said earlier there is shield- and healthgates now, but what is realy changed that previously we had a moment of invulnerability after *-gate was kicked in. But now we don't have.

First shield gate was triggered, then healthgate, then INVADERONE uses his Stimulant Pack ability and replenish all his shields, THEN he was killed on spot by one Scion's blast melted all his shields and health, and without any gate triggered! :blink: Notice, after he was revived at 5:33, remainder of his shields was with him, but quickly dropped to zero. And this is not about lag, because he is hosting!
This is just insane, because seems that there is shield- and healthgates, but a) they are not always working, and B) they are not working like before the patch!
I don't know what you think but I have some very serious questions for Bioware multiplayer programmers now.

You can tell that something changed when fighting bosses like the Geth Prime.
Before the update when all three shots hit, there would be a sliver of health left over, but now you will sometimes die right away.

Also enemies that swarm like the Collectors or Dragoon's can get in free shots before you even get out of the "revive" animation after using a medigel, causing you to go back down.

Well at first I wanted to say something about cooldowns on those gates, but that incident at 1:30 totally doesn't make sense then. Or rather my explanation of it.

That there is no shieldgate at 5:28 is a result of the shieldgate cooldown. He just replenished his shields but didn't get back his shieldgate. I must admit that I've only read this a bunch of times, but I haven't seen any official confirmation. If shield and healthgate shared the same cooldown, it would explain it though. 

But in that case it would be actually better to not replenish your shields when you've been dropped to shieldgate because that would also take away your healthgate for a short time.

This so much. Just had an escort mission against collectors and we were getting pretty wasted. After I went down and revived myself I spammed that shield boost button - was playing a Volus Engineer - but literally nothing happened before me and several others went down again.

After playing platinum/gold I definitely experienced the changed mechanic. Krogaurd with cm4 at full health and shield dropped in what seemed to be 2 to 3 hits. I was host, so it wasn't lag related. This needs to be discussed.

Well, you apparently did not read my earlier comment then. He was killed by the Praetorian beam, which ignores shield/health gate just like the Pyro does.

And since when do the gates have a cooldown? Oo
