Player Shield/Healthgate removal is the worst thing to happen since the Vangaurd Glitch.

Even when I am using the Geth and Volus I still can take 3 Prime shots before going down...
And the last bar of health still has the super triple the health of the other bars effect when getting shot by full auto guns.

Maybe it's just a case of adapting to the new challenge, but to be fair with the new enemies and the changes made to existing enemies, having my health bar vanish the instant my shields drain is literally a killer.

You can say whatever you want, there is any problem with the gates. Sometimes they work and sometimes not. I normally play with a good team and we always played U/U/G without any problems. Yesterday we had games without any problem and then we had a few, we get downed like flies.
I've tried a Destroyer with devmode for max Shields, a cyclonic 4 and was down from full health and shields within 2 seconds, without getting hit by a big guy. Sometimes you go down so fast, that you dont even see that you get hit buy something. My buddies also experienced this and they are solid gold players. We still get extractions, but it can't be, that you always have to use all the consumables to get trough Gold because of that ****

That happened to me last night full health and shields rounded a corner and just fell no enemies around kill feed didn't even say I was downed. Not sure but am assuming that this is a bug that they are looking into and are just not mentioning it.

Before silvr was easy enough I might only use at most 1 consumable now I am lucky if i only need to use 4.

I would hope not. That could be seen as being a bit mercenary if it was the case, so am happy to think that it's just a bug or undocumented feature that needs plugging.
For Bioware staff it's probably about 8 or so in the morning so imagine that if they respond it will be anytime from now going forwards.

I only mention it b/c there were threads about it all day yesterday. Seemed like they were commenting on everything except this. Hoping it's a bug too.

Whether they comment on it or not, people know there has been some change. Most people's in game experiences tell them that.DNC Protoman wrote...
Bioware most likely isn't commenting because we're correct in the gates being gone. They don't want the massive backlash from confirming it.

If they chose to add it they need to say so, un documented changes in a game where the majority of changes are listed in patch notes is a big no no.
If it is a bug yeah it is ruining their game and needs to be fixed.
Hopefully Bioware comments sometime today on this in a sticky at the top of the forums.
I want my shieldgate/healthgate back or make enemies deal like 35% less damage so I dont die to 1 cannibal burst.

Was this patch and dlc focused on the hardcore players and ruining it for us casuals? Where is the balance? Also please don't take 3 or 5 months to fix whatever this bug is.

I wondered how i was getting mown down so fast. I used like 4 medigels trying to run away from 3 marauders. Wondered why they were killing me so easily.
Well now i know another reason i'm getting my arse handed to me on gold now.

Yeah, i feel the same, right now i don't feel like playing MP as much as i was two days ago. If this is not addressed, i rather stay playing RE6.

Accepted, but that doesn't explain why enemies/factions are made tougher and health/shield gates are removed at the same time. I'm inclinded to think it's been removed by accident.
