He can't fight worth S**T, out of every one of my char he has died the most . His crying is pathetic and for a man no less , i mean he didn't even know Duncan long enough to be crying so much. Because Allister was the last one to join before you. So he was already a( i use this lightly) man.
Well, it's not my fault you have no clue how to play the very basics of the game, if Alistair dies so much on you. He is perhaps the easiest character to manage out of all of them, and it doesn't take much thought to build him right. Give him a shield, armor, and stick with the sword and shield skills, and he's unstoppable. Out of two playthroughs, I can count the times he died on me on one hand.
As for the second comment, such a rather juvinile view of what constitutes a "man" makes me suspect your own knowledge of how real people, men and women, truly function in the world, is limited, at the very least.
He straight up lies to your face about the arl not being his dad . then gives you a waa, people are mean to me
when i tell them ,as a weak excuse . A smart ass that wont give you a straight answer
if his virginity depended on it .
Um, he didn't lie to you. The Arl wasn't his dad, the king was. He never tells you the Arl was his dad, only that rumors were said about it. Do you actually pay attention to the dialogue? He stated that while people whispered that the Arl was his father, he was told who his real father was: Maric.
And of course, his excuse was hardly weak, it was quite valid. Not to mention there are 100 other more pragmatic reasons for him to say nothing about it.
And then even though he never did it he says no to you . He wants nothing
to do with responsibilities what so ever . i don't know why you like this guy so
much, now don't get mad at me I'm just asking OK .can you explain please?
My guess is you are probably very young, so you really wouldn't understand why Alistair appeals to females (and alot of men, gay and straight). But I will try and make it simple.
Alistair is a very realistic character with realistic faults and strengths, not some idiot macho muscle robot. He is quite imperfect, but those flaws make him all the more endearing to those people who are fond the the character. Perhaps, for starters, he quite readily admits to his flaws and mistakes, and his reluctance to lead or take charge on any large scale is far more interesting than some ego-driven moron who thinks his opinions in all matters should be taken as gospel. And the fact that he likes to pepper most of his conversations with a naive, self depreciating sarcasm/goofieness makes his "whining" difficult to take seriously.
