Ok, looks alright, but I already have this character. His name is Bob the Krogan Vanguard.

Combined Gold score of >330k? In 25 min? Intense stuff. Normally my Gold games are <250k and Plat games are around the 350kish mark, and the latter are around 30 min. Must've been a hell of a game lol. Unless the hazard stuff multiplies the score by some amount.

Anyways, nice guide and tips. I unlocked this dude earlier but I'm a very simple player - just Kroguard, Infiltrator, and Destroyer for me - but I will definitely give him a try now. Thanks.

Great guide! I will have to try this because I was struggling with my Havoc yesterday.  Thank you for posting a video too. It helps a lot to visual what is being said.

My question: Would this still work with a longer distance weapon (like the Harrier) to prime targets before charging? Or would something in the build have to be sacraficed?

Thanks!

Well done. Consumable dependent, but still well done. Cryo blast really is a pointless addition to the class. The points are needed elsewhere and burst rarely effects chilled targets. Likewise Cryo blast needs to be maxed to have full effect, where are you going to get the points from since you need the fitness?

Just wanted to tag the thread so I can take a closer look when I get home. I tried him last night and was underwhelmed. Think I used the improper weapon too. Thanks for sharing.

glad this worked for you mate but i re-spec'd yesterday and currently have the same Havok Strike Evo's and i want to go back to what i had before, which was Force/Damage, Melee Damage, Force/Damage.  this guy was made to Havok Strike and Melee.  should be all Melee for your Fitness.  Havok Strike + Melee kills just about everything except bosses on Gold.  you can take on a Prime by yourself with my build because of invincibility frames with Havok Strike.  take a weapon that gives 200+ cooldown and by the time you're done with a melee after Havok Strike, you can Havok Strike again.  rinse and repeat.  it's like another Novaguard except without charge glitching.

i recommend this on Gold:
Turian Havok - Wreak Havok!

Tested this out (though didn't quite build my Stim pack thingie the right way), it works really well. Though half of the time I ended up killing them with the Reegar. Are there any other weapons recommendable for this?

Not to speak for the OP, but after watching the vid it looks like a Piranha or fast-firing AR would serve decently.  You want something that can quickly apply fire/electric effects so that HC can detonate them.  I'm tempted to try it with the Harrier, which is also my favorite weapon on Shadows.

During Havoc Strike, do you have full damage immunity, very high DR, or is that you are moving so fast that enemies can't hit you?

Too much consumable-dependant. If you manage to do a viable guide without using amps or ammo I'll make you a statue.

The build and overall playstyle (e.g. knowing what to target and when to use your recharge) can work without consumables, it's just that this guide was written for Gold+ play, so its considered bad etiquette to not use them. Adding even just a level 1 aamo mod though will make a substantial difference.

I think you have full damage immunity during most of the aimation, though I have been killed a few times at the end of it.

That's basically true. You want a light weapon that reliably applies ammo effects. I like the Reegar the most since it applies ammo effects very reliably. I tried the Hurricane with this build and it also did alright.

It should be viewable in my manifest.

Tried the hurricane and I kinda love it, though it means I can't get a gear that gives smg damage and grenade mod or melee damage. Thinking of going with the stronghold gear. Fitness rank 6 I went with melee synergy, hopefully it works in gold.

Sadly, your manifest is not accessable in your profile under Games. I only see Dragon Age: Origins. But I looked up your name in N7 HQ and found it instead.  Sharing so you don't have to list everything.  I hope that's okay.

I dunno, I honestly want to make this guy into a proper meleeing Turian. At the moment the Ghost seems slightly better because of the damage from TC, but this also has 40% melee bonus from HC and AoE stagger. They atleast need to give them the fitness of the other Turians.

Anyway, to respond to earlier criticisms that this build/class is too dependent on equipment usage, I will do a Havoc Soldier solo run without any equipment and post the results.

I have by no means mastered this class, but what I like to do is pop a stimpack, charge, immediately follow this with a heavy melee and then use the backwards rocket dodge to get to a safer distance.
