Let's just say that the two of us had a bad start. But I love my teammates' reactions when I blow one up before checking if they are near it.

My Geth Turret decided to shoot one in the middle of a hacking objective. It wasn't pretty.

Charged one to death and immediately started a Nova to save myself. I got staggered. Before my first Collector game I had been tipped off about the... explosive nature of possessed Abominations.

When wave 10 arrived, I charged another one, but it had already been thrown. I think a DOT finished it off, because it exploded soon after and killed me. =(

By the time I saw a possessed one, I had figured out that throw is the best way to deal with any of them.

I was a little too close and happened to kill it.... aaand dead...

It can be of service tough, one time there was couple of other abominations and a trooper close to it, and I blew them up with it.

Ive died to praetoriean more dramatically tough, couple of times the thing has just snuck behind me and instakilled me with its pincers or whatever they are.

I kept hearing Blackstar Explosions, but I dismissed them for some attack used by the Scions or the Praetorians. Until I saw a Possessed Abomination explode, I went "HOLY CRAP!"
