Right now, however, I'm playing the MP aspect. The way I see it, we don't know how ME3 will completely end until the dlc schedule is finished. If we do learn there's something bigger going on here, then I would have regretted not playing the MP side more. If there isn't anything bigger going on and they just abandon it. Then I may as well get as much time playing ME as I can. Because if that day comes... I will never touch it again.

.
ME3's singleplayer campaign is not perfect, but neither is ME1, and the first game didn't have a multiplayer.

Okay, so at first I hated the idea. Then I tried it and enjoyed it. Then I beat the SP campaign and couldn't pick up the game again for months. Coming back to it to play my 2nd and 3rd playthroughs I could feel nothing but bitterness for the MP aspect. It really felt like that's all BioWare care about now, and it still kind of does. A lot of that has to do with the fact that the SP content takes longer to develop and we're obviously not seeing behind the scenes. But also because BioWare actually listen to the MP crowd and give them the content they want. Whereas the SP aspect seems like they don't really care how hurt or depressed we are about Shepard end. It was the story they wanted to tell, and while I respect that, I do. I find it somewhat offensive they say they take pride in fan feedback and then hit us with an ending like that. Refuse the icing on the offense.

like I said before I really like mass effect 3 single player I want happy with the ending but over all I love the game. I just really don't get the mp maybe thats because me1 and 2 didn't have a mp I don't no I just find the mp really boring after 10 mins thats just me thoSNascimento wrote...
Both are great. The problem is that people tend to blame MP for any shortcomings the SP may or may not have.

Well if the choice is ME3's singleplayer? Then I'll choose MP 100% of the time.davepissedatending wrote...

There's no story arc, no reason for me to keep playing apart from to "level up", which I find fairly dull. I've only downloaded the MP DLC's because I support BioWare in making them free.

The only reason I prefer to play the MP atm is because I just can't put myself through all that emotional trauma again knowing what's coming at the end.
Mordin's death, Thane's death, Legion's death. They hurt just as much each time (especially Thane and Mordin) and I can't put myself through that level of immersion that I have *always* played Mass Effect games with. Because once I get to the end and I am hit with the limited amount of choices that all carry heavily negative connotations. I don't even feel like playing anymore. My last playthrough I just turned off my xbox after Shepard's speech to the Catalyst in refuse. That hurts me so much because I bought a thousand dollar PC earlier in the year and I wanna buy the trilogy pack on it to play it "how it's meant to be played" but as the game is now, there is very literally no point.

Ooooh. That's a tough one. I suppose I would have to say SP, mainly because the story is what the trilogy is at its core. Initially, I was upset that Bioware introduced the MP element to what had been to that point, my all time favourite SP series.
But then, once I dipped my toes in, I grew quite attached to it and enjoyed it. In fact, the bulk of my friends list I picked up playing MP.
I now feel that the MP element complements the SP beautifully. I really wouldn't accept Mass Effect without it now.
I downloaded the Retaliation addon, and its fun, but I think that they've increased the difficulty curve.

The MP is boring and the unlock system is BS.
So neither.

seriously think they made it part of the game not just for Readiness to got towards the ending, but also afterwords if the ending was horrible to us, we'd go straight to MP and stay focus on it, to make us forget or just not really care about SP, because we would stay to focus on collecting every item card, I'll call it MP theory/conspiracy or painkiller theory, not to mention they do get $$ from people through it, but yeah MP for the win.

The only thing MP is doing is keeping Mass Effect 3 alive. If it wasn't for that next to no one would still be playing it..

I think thats rather harsh the single player wasn't garbage the ending was but the game on a hole is flawed in some places but by no means garbage. But thats my opinion. The trilogy as a hole in my opinion is one of the best of all time and ten years down the line thats the games I will remember my xbox360 forMumba1511 wrote...

The MP rocks but it can get old after a while with the same stuff. At least now they are throwing Collectors in the mix. The SP campaign could have been a lot better though, it's a shame.
These 2 quotes summarize my thoughts exactly.davepissedatending wrote...
