I just find ME3's singleplayer to be complete garbage. MP is the only thing that's stopping me from taking it back to the store.

have you played gears of war 3 mp?

I'm in the top 1000 in the world for quick match TDM :)

It's soo much better than ME3 MP.

mp is too repetetive, cod or bf3 or cs:go > me3 mp, because there is pvp. Horde mode is stupid as hell and not fun in long run. Singleplayer on the other hand is huge disapointment and somehow trash for me. IMHO me3mp > me3sp

Tried it in the Beta, kinda liked it a bit.  Only got to wave 3, but since there was only 2 of us, not too bad, I think.

After the game went live, I tried twice, both times ended up being alone, and died within 15 seconds.

Never got into it afterwards, so no, I don't like it.  MAYBE it's because I kept doing the host instead of looking for an open game (haven't figured this out yet, either), and now with an N7 score being a goose egg, I doubt that I ever will.

I never played multiplayer games before ME3. I never planned on playing the ME3 multiplayer. I also never thought singleplayer would be such a letdown.

Now I play the multiplayer because it gives me the chance to beat the Reapers that Shepard never got.

It's mediocre, especially compared to Halo, Gears of War, or Battlefield.

By the way, I find it incredibly ironic that ME3's multiplayer is widely regarded as one of its best features, and yet before release many here were against any form of multiplayer.

Because we thought it would negativity impact the single player. It sucks to be right.

ME3's Multiplayer is amazing.

Pointless fun I guess, if you got another multiplayer game play that instead.
If not then waste time on ME3.

I played the multiplayer for a couple of hours in the ME3 demo. But it got boring and repetitive pretty fast for me. When the game was released i tried to play it to get my galactic readiness up. But I couldn't stand more then a few games. So I downloaded Gibbed instead.

When you think about it, It's kind of sad that for so many people ME3's best feature is a tacked on co-op multiplayer ^_^

To be fair its fun when actually playing it, but the novelty wore off months ago no matter what characters they introduce, the horde mode is repetitive and ME for me was always about SP anyway.

Pretty much, I just downloaded and played the "Relatiation" DLC....for about 3 matches. Yeah, some more Battlefield/COW-esq challenges and new characters I have to pay for to unlock. It got stale after about 40 mins of me pwning everything in sight with my Krogan Vanguard.

MP sucks, ME was the one game I played to avoid all the online bollocks...key word "was".

I haven't really played sp since EC came out. And I've only really played mp on weekend operations.

ME3's multiplayer is okay. Nothing groundshaking. Adequate. The parts about it that sucks is that it's sometimes laggy as hell, repetitive, and if you don't have a mic, good luck communicating with anyone.

The Multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 is very good and even better if you are a fan of the stories and their races etc. But I don't think that it must be like Battlefield or something like that. Mass Effect can be without Multiplayer like Battlefield can be without Story Mode. But Mass Effect without singeplayer isn't Mass Effect.

I will say it can be fun for awhile and I have played a lot of it. However, it is nowhere near as varied in types of play as say CoD because it is basically over-produced horde mode. The most varied thing about it is really the characters you play as and they type of enemies, but even those are really just variations of the same things. Sure, there are Collectors, geth, reapers, and cerberus but they all have comparable difficulty waves.

The new retaliation map changes are fun enough but really I'd rather this stuff had been in the SP. It's annoying to see they went to all that trouble to add hazards to the MP, changed maps around, and did all that augmentation all for microtransactions. And lately the only ones playing it on the xbox are ten year olds. Fun.

I just love to listen to screaming babies, barking dogs, people coughing up a lung, vomiting (yes they've done this), yelling at me to wear a mic, telling people to "watch out!"-wow, that's helpful, or just talking about some girl they're going to uh befriend. I also love being the only person doing the missions and asking someone to help - someone that thinks this is team deathmatch, only to have that person ask me "what missions?". I also love completing the whole thing by myself.

And it's a particularly fun thing to watch the other players run to the other side of the map because they think they will be the first to get some kills only to have the enemies spawn closer to me. Hint: they spawn wherever everyone is not waiting.

It's mind numbing and I daresay if you pay just to have good ammo, you will go broke. It's ok and fun enough but it is no substitute for a great SP game. It is a decent substitute for a flawed one so that may be why they made the SP the way they did.

I think BioWare is in a position to make MP very worth it to the SP story in ways that matter more than EMS. It would have to be retroactive, of course, but after EA announced that MP or co-op is going to be part of all their games, I started thinking about all the ways it can be improved from a gimmick to an actually engaging, story-filled gaming style. I wonder if they'll actually make good on that possibility. Even in tiny, tiny ways -- mentioning MP progress in cutscenes as opposed to emails, for example, or considering a whole new integration for future IPs that could work in the multiplayer RPG elements that were present in SWTOR (say what you will, but that aspect was less clunky than I expected and I'm totally going back when it goes FTP.)

But in general, I adore ME3 single player, and can get into the MP sometimes. I would get into it more if I felt its effects more intensely. Granted, that's more of an ending-related issue than anything. If my MP was affecting the strength of my military during that final push, I'd be all about it.

I don't understand it for me the mp was the weakest part of the game

I think for people who never played or rarely played any online multiplayer, then ME's multiplayer is right up their alley. I'm used to Halo and COD mulitplayers, so to me, ME's mp is very boring and repetitive. They should have scratched the multiplayer and worked more on singleplayer.

I will always play ME for the SP exprience but suprisingly I enjoy the ME 3 MP quite a bit and I am generally not a person that plays MP games.

I don't understand why people like so much to blame MP for SP's issues.
