What does it do besides increases wep dam.?
At level II it says "Wep dam +4%" and "Thermal Clip Pack Capacity +1".. What does this mean? I've done numeral tests to no avail.. I do not see what the "Thermal Clip Capacity +1" is supposed to do, maybe it's broken.

I'd guess weapon damage.
All the other gears increasing equipments have a secondary stat, so Assault Loadout should too.

EDIT: It's obvious.
The icon shows the missile, and the thermal clip.
It must increase give an extra Cobra Missile Launcher along with the extra Thermal Clip.

You can take more Thermal Clip Packs into battle with you. The normal limit is five (if you have maxed it out). This piece of gear should let you take more into battle, up to a maximum of eight.

It's the power up listed under the '8' key on PC and instantly refills your ammo and grenades.

Thermal clip capacity= ammo pack. The equipment that you use to instantly replenish ammo, nades, etc.

It increases the thermal clips, which are beside your rockets/gels/ops packs.
And weapon damage obviously means it increases the damage of your weapons.

It's the consumable Thermal Clip that gets a boost, not your weapons'.

it is confusing, because some gear gives you a 30% increase to thermal clip capacity, whcih does effect your wepaon

it does say thermal clip pack capacity duh ......jsut noticed that:pinched:

Too bad they never created a gear slot that combined grenade capacity & added thermal packs  ..sometimes I burn thru all thermal packs by wave 8 when using a grenade character...
