That's not very fair. I may not agree with the OP, but they are asking for their idea of what would add more depth and realism to the romances - not dumbing them down to a juvenile fantasy. There are many threads here where that would be a more appropriate response, though.krul2k wrote...

Anders: I'm sorry. I don't know if I could ever really love another man after... after losing Karl *sad face Anders*
You persist in your flirting though, and eventually win him over.
How this won't work:
Anders: I've never been with a man before and never really wanted to. Sorry... Is it enough for me to call you a friend?
You keep flirting with him and he eventually changes his mind. This does not happen in RL lol

Steve could be rejected in much the same way in ME 3. Only he was much better at taking a hint than Anders was.
The problem with that was that Shep HAD to do the "STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!!!!"
I had a Shep who never talked to the guy, who yelled out his name like they were besties. I didn't like that.
And for the record, I don't like the Hawkesexual thing, at all.

I feel ya. But until more information about the game is released and we're given a subforum for romance, there's nowhere else for people to post who DO want to talk about this stuff. Hopefully that day will come soon, because the romance/sex threads don't bother me, but the character hate threads do.krul2k wrote...

I may be wrong. I may be remembering wrong. Haven't played any shooters, ME included, in months.

That would help narrow the gap between the sexualization of female characters and the lack thereof among males, to be sure.

You know, I always wonder why women (IRL) are allowed to have these two bulges under their shirt and it's okay, but can I wear spandex? Nooo...

I don't understand.
It says Serendipity is a transgender elf who works at the blooming rose.
Let's channel David Gaider (lucky him - he gets to answer all the sex threads) about Serendipity.
DG - was he/she an inside joke?
I'd suggest channeling Mary Kirby, as she was the one who wrote her.

Well, if someone genuinely prefers a different gender, you're not going to convince him/her otherwise. Only way this could work is something like...
Anders: I'm sorry. I don't know if I could ever really love another man after... after losing Karl *sad face Anders*

Dudes are allowed to wear spandex outside. Have you people never seen someone biking? They don't even have to be all that attractive, tragically.
But women have those bulges with EVERYTHING outside of medieval armor. I want my bulge to be allowed!
Equal representation for bulges!

It's almost as if, in the absence of much information of substance to discuss about DA3, all the old controversies from DA2 are what people are still discussing.
