All this talk about them being hard to snipe? Challenge accepted.

Just what I was thinking.  Should be easier to get a bead on than a Phantom at least.  they might not stay perfectly still for 5 seconds but they also don't bob-and-weave as much.

I agree, the Dragoon is very problematic.
The worst: He uses the same model as the Phoenix, in Hazard Dagger you can barely distinguish who is your ally and who is Cerberus.

I totally thought it was a team mate the first time.

Only beef with the dragoon sofar... Reserving judgement on the other stuff :) .

What's this about Dragoons not taking cover? I'm not sure what your complaint is, but I have seen goons take cover when they only have a little bit of health left. Also, you can stagger them; they don't seem to require much more effort to do so than other enemies (at least to me). The main thing about them that feels a little off to me is goons having armor. Pre-DLC, all armor units were relatively slow (the idea being that armor is super heavy), so suddenly having one rush you like it's totally unencumbered is a little weird.

theyre barely a threat imo. was carrying the pizza earlier and got swarmed by three of them and they just kept spamming smash, but every time they tried to do it they ended up jumping past me and missing entirely.

took them all out with fire explosions without being hit once

Players can't spam smash THAT fast. Even pre-nerfed version of it.

I am not having problems with the Dragoon, really. I don't believe they've been targeting me through cloak when I'm an infiltrator, though I do take them down pretty quickly.

If you're getting sneaked up on as a Sniper, my advice is to get your teammates to watch your back. Dragoons are quiet, but so are you. It's pretty easy to sneak up on a Phantom who is in cover, for instance.

This is just my experience, of course. The only thing about them that scares me is that they have armor which makes some of my weapons sad. Not my Omni-blade, though.

GET OFF MY LAWN, DRAGOON!!!!!!

Seriously I love the addition. Cerberus was a cake walk before them. They are extremely aggressive now, not as boring as usual.

Their agressivess is boring, cheap and dumb. A freaking brute is smarter and has more complicated AI than a Dragoon. Dragoons are no smarter then husks. I think they used husk AI on them .

Cerberus was almost too tactical before, they needed an aggressive armored unit to wreak havoc on squads in cover. Are you complaining that they are difficult or that they are just aggressive?

Are you freaking playing Gold? Because if you get a hack it's gonna be overrun by Dragoons in 2 seconds.

The point is that Dragoons are super simple. And they are just one more reason to pack a shotgun.

I'm complaining that they are idiots with no self preservation. They move faster than Phantoms and just keep going until them or you are dead. That's super primitive AI.

They are like the phantoms, they have armor so they're bold, just like the phantoms with their barriers so they just charge you.

I havent had a problem with them. Overload on the Ghost stuns them everytime and its a simple point and shoot with my sniper or AR (depending on which way I decide to spec this time).

Personally I like the primitive idea behind their actions. Reminds me of some people I played with. More importantly its nice and predictable. Makes life easy.

Because Geth Hunters, Brutes, Husks, and Abominations don't do the same thing...

Every faction has a unit that can punish camping now. I don't see the problem with that.

I haven't had any trouble with them, but I've only fought them with the Slayer so far. Charge > about 8 melees > dead.

I'm not talking about ways to take them down. They can be killed - sure. But they are no fun at all. Just brainless and cheap (like geth)

I find it a refreshing mix up to Cerbs normal tactical moves. Means you cant take too much time anymore. Its a great breakup for defensible positions while other troops get into place to nade you to death. And if they do manage to get through then well, you kind of deserve the punishment you are getting.

Well Cerberus were always advertised as the most tactical faction with a "slow push" that use cover, flank and do organized ****. Dragoons however are just plain kamikaze. Seriously I can make an AI like that in 30 minutes.

I would be happy if they advanced like normal. You know, shooting, taking cover and when they get in certain range, THEN they rush you. But they just spawn and sprint at you. And never stop. It's just laughable.

Hmmm kinda don't like the dragoons as well. They're like hamsters except they carry guns and can spam smash like they're on power efficiency modules. Wait, what if they are??

Sorry but your arguing a personal opinion as fact, which it clearly is not. That looses cred with me. And as I said earlier, they add a depth the Cerberus team has been lacking. A true in your face death machine. Which is why I like them.

LOL. They HAVE NO DEPTH. They are a bunch of husks with whips. And act like it.

Even though they're only armor, overload shocks them and you get a few seconds to breathe. I play Vanguards and Adepts, so I think they're fairly easy to kill. Charge, zip backwards while shooting them in the face. With the Fury, dodge, DC, throw, repeat.
