@Ryzaki I didn't say anything about how many romances there were, if you read my post again. I simply said it had characters of every sexual orientation. Something the other games didn't do. Considering that's how things are in actuality, that's the best way to go about doing it.
@XCelfa Dragon Age, just like Mass Effect, is grounded to reality in a lot of ways. Origins had straight characters. Apparently everyone in the world of Dragon Age isn't bi, so how does a fantasy setting somehow change that in the rest of the games? Answer: It doesn't.
Saying like ME3 to me is suggesting the amount was sufficent. Which it wasn't at all.
And not really. The best way of going about it to me anyway is the most resource friendly way. Especially since you can PLAINLY see what happens when the devs know they're making content for something most players won't see (hi there Jacob romance! Uh...can't really call it one anymore now can you?) At least if the content is for everyone they're guaranteed a decent amount of limelight.
Also protip PLENTY of people in DA2 were straight. The LIs not being straight exclusive doesn't make the entire game bisexual all of a sudden.
