My only complaint is that the Seeker Swarms are OP. I can get behind hindering shield and health regen, but screwing with my power cooldown is BS.

They're fine apart from the Scions, everything about them is way out of whack. Near as I can tell they've got armor strength comparable to a Geth Prime yet appear as often as Brutes, their cannon burst can stunlock kill even the most tanky players on bronze and silver, that combined with the fact that they have pretty much no tell for when they're about to fire means it's far to easy to be stun-killed by them, and to top all that off they have a sync kill so you can't even engage them in melee either.

I like everything else about the collectors but the Scions are better boss units than the Pratoreans yet appear earlier and in greater numbers. They really need a looking at as right now they are easily the most deadly unit in the game.

This is my opinion on collectors exactly.

The only thing I dislike is the ability they use that puts all my abilities on a way too long cooldown. Makes casters almost useless.

My ONLY complaint is that Collectors rounds feel too quiet, with the absence of Harbinger and the music we're all familiar with from ME2, it just feels.. I don't know, atmosphere isn't quite right. But combat-wise, they're brilliant. Love the possession mechanic and how it can really change the state of the battlefield. Lots of new stuff to learn how to combat, exactly what I was looking for in a new enemy faction.

They're tough but fair. The only "cheap" death I've had to them was also my own negligence, as a Praetorian snuck up on me as a Destroyer and I ignored his poking, thinking it was Trooper gunfire until he instakilled me. I'm still getting used to them though, so sometimes things just go REALLY south.

Aside from the Scions having too much health, the Collector faction is perfect.

I've been playing Collectors/Hazard Dagger/Silver with three randoms, and it's been the most fun I've had in ME3 multi since March.

The only thing I don't like about them is the seeker swarms, Taking away my power use has more than once been the death of me. Still wouldn't take it out if I could though, it makes things interesting.

Too many Praetorians at one time, IMO, other than that they're great.

Gold objectives waves are frustrating on certain maps because the praetorians have a combonation of fast movement speed and instant respawning after death. Other than that though they are fun and challenging.

great job on giving us an enemy that is both awesome and fun to fight. They can be difficult but not frustrating like the Geth. In ME2 the Collectors loved to stay in cover but you sure changed that up in ME3 :wizard:

I agree.  They are a lot of fun, and difficult as all get out sometimes, but not in a cheap way.  I like them!

They are so easy bar the occasional nuke husks or scion 45 grenade spam.

70% done with the Collector General Challenge already.

so, to brag about your skills, you say 'they're so easy' and mention a challenge %?....it's comments like this on here that make me laugh

So?...

I'm just saying that they are probably the easiest faction to get the challenges off of, and they are easy to fight as well.

Their units seem to give more EXP than other factions.

If you are jealous that's okay, but don't be a jerk about it.

I noticed you only have 15% or so done... :?

"EMBRACE PERFECTION."

(they're incredibly good fun to fight, but I think they just need a little bit of Harbinger voiceovers to make them complete ;-)

very true. collectors on small maps are really frustrating and unfun when praetorians start to spawn in masses. you might get 2 on one side, another from the other side rushing in, completely blocking hallways. and then everyone of them might start to spam their death beams... with 3-4 scions lobbing grenades into the mix...

i also feel that the posessed exploding husks need to get looked at: if you are close to one you'll die from the explosion, and if one grabs you, it's a sync kill basically because you can't even throw it off without setting off the nuke resulting in your death. it would be enough for them just to run up to you and start meleeing, without the grabbing. nomal collector husks explode upon death and can kill you by locking you into the animation, the posessed ones are a bit over the top, imo.

The Praetorian looks like a crab, is glossy and IMO completely out of place graphically, other than that they are okay.

They are a terrible unbalanced mess. You can brag all your want but that's the bare truth.

This.  Praetorians and Scions need a 20-30% armor hit point decrease.  Praetorians can fire their laser eyes from their forcefields and while dying and it hits through cover.  F the collectors.

I have to admit that they're starting to grow on me, TMB.

Also, we need to team up and slaughter a bunch of them this weekend! My Havoc especially likes taking it to 'em! Image IPB

Theoretically, if Bioware decided to add Harbinger's voice acting, wouldn't it have to be patched in? I seriously doubt they are releasing a new patch any time soon if so unfortunately.

The only things that irks me about them is that Praetorians have completely lost the fear and utter terrifying appearance they had in Mass Effect 2.

All their aura of horror vanished the moment I saw one of them roll. That was absolutely hilarious. Like one giant, six legged dog. And when it died and fell on its back, like a bug... I just lost it. :D

Still love them, though. They're scary, but not disgusting like the Reapers. And the unnerving swarming noise that can be heard during the match is kinda amazing.
