I am, of course, talking about the blackness that borders the screen at all times during the game. (example footage: )
Since the game has been released, its been one of my largest gripes and many of my friends have been bothered by it as well. With respect to the Mass Effect team, for me persoanlly it is an eyesore and makes some maps look darker and harder to appreciate. It is especially degrading to bright maps like Firebase Dagger.
Is there an option or config to disable it, and if not, can it please be patched in? Its literally one of the biggest reasons I haven't been playing much multiplayer.
Is there a way to disable the black haze?

If it doesn't severely break the game, then they probably would brush this off.

yes adjust screen size, your native desktop resolution is larger than the default size selected by the game
i just tested for me my native desktop size is 1920/1080
but the game default installed at 1680/1050 and i had the black border, however setting the screen size up to 1920/1080 removed the black border
i would assume that the same will be true for you as well, setting the screen to the same size as your desktop size (ok i have a 22" widescreen hd tv instead of a monitor and lower settigns just dont work properly)
