Thinking of naming the pic Mark of Death. Someone in this thread sort of accidentally put the idea in my brain and I think I like it since it doesn't assign any particular motive. What do you guys think? :3

Charsen, I'm super-impressed with the range of emotions you're getting with these screenshots, seriously. (And the kisses, too!) I wish that kind of stuff had gone into the game proper for our stiff-faced PCs :|

Seriously! I realize they can't do facial expressions for every line, since they can be taken differently, but there are certain scenes where you'd think pretty much all PCs would have a similar expression, so why couldn't they do something!? I have hundreds of screenshots of my HN and I think she shows expression in less than 10 of them, and those are all angry/sad.

We could only think of one smile in the whole game, and that's when a female kisses Alistair goodbye when he sacrifices himself to the Archdemon...


Edit: But that Zev face makes me giggle.

thanks you guys

i also can't think of any smiles that the male PC has. that's why CZ can't make approval banners for us. but i have been making my PCs have tiny smiles in the kisses so far. i'll try to add even more though. =)

now, there is a way that i can do fine tuned facial animations via another program (facefx) but so far it doesn't work on my PC. gotta figure out why..

Exactly! It's even more weird when those lines that could have been meant differently are taken by NPC certain way, so what would be the harm if PC showed the emotion right while speaking...

i think the reason why they didn't is because the animation tags to conversations are on or off. that means your face goes from dead-pan to grin with no transition. but there are some good animations with transitions that look pretty good, so i assume it was just a low priority. =/

Dogs and clothes - my poor dog has to wear clothes when it's cold because she doesn't have a lot of hair. I hope you wouldn't all point and laugh at her! She looks fine in her coats.

And, can anybody tell me what is happening here? It was on my first playthrough.  I don't remember it happening again.
