I like the leather one, especially short, with bare thighs. But I like the swing of a wool kilt too (and what swings underneath).

Then again, there's always naked.

Fixed that for you. XD Literotica is good for precisely two things: lol and epic lol.

You have defined the internet.  I defy you to find a better source!  (Please do.  )

But I still find that less creepy and more "wow, she has a challenge ahead of her", lol.

Yeah, apparently the game's been going on for quite some time so I guess it's working out all right.

I actually became ambiguous enough about it by habit that coming here and having people know I'm a chick was jarring, I've been incognito gender-wise for a few years in most places I interract with anyone.

People assume I'm a guy too unless I say different.  I've been incognito many places, most notably while I was still Christian and posting on a conservative religious board because a lot of them have a lot of hangups about sex and authority.  On a few occasions they were all "Are you male or female, I must know, IT'S KILLING ME!"   Oh, and on a fps I used to play, so the noobs would shut up and play instead of hitting on me.

I can play male toons etc, but on the internets and in forums and such I try not to hide behind them anymore. I went through a spat of playing obnoxiously male toons in WoW, but I wanted to be srsbzns about playing the game mechanics and not the social side and wanted people to take my RAID SKILLZ SRS, especially since I was doing something as manly as tanking.

I don't do the duplicity thing amymore, however, since IRL I identify myself as a girl. Got the t*ts and everything.

I tried that too because I was sick of all the comments on my virtual female form, but it's kind of difficult if you have to go to teamspeak or something to organize the said raid XD

"I can hear you but I can't speak" used to work beautifully. But when I was made to maintank and I had to call out nonsense in vent, I had to speak up. Tbh the people I liked in the game knew I was a lady, and I never got any weirdness of UR ACCENT IS HAWT LAWL was kept to a minimum as the fact I was playing a giant mancow in plate shut them up.

But it is HAWT LAWL. I only played on a trial account once, and did it with a male and female toon. The female had a guy giving her money for no reason.

I sometimes play tanks, both male and female, but I've never pretended to be male in real life. People seem to guess that I'm female anyway. I'm very quiet on TS/Vent anyway though.

I can't remember if anybody has offered me money just for being female, although my son's female blood elf got given money. He set up a guild with it. Maybe it's because I tend to play the less popular/pretty races!

I did have somebody follow one of my female dwarves around. He was another dwarf and we never mentioned age or gender but I guessed that he was probably a 12 year old boy. He was a lot of fun. He was lower level than me and just so impressed with everything. Every time we saw something new he would get very excited, and he kept telling my dwarf how brave she was when she attacked big dinosaurs. It was like seeing the game through new eyes. He was so cute.

D'aaw.

And since I live in the gutter I'd imagine that he'd use his mental image of you as material for some "meditation".

Guess the discussion has moved on a bit but some earlier comments here made me wonder: is there really such a problem with people writing/playing the other gender? I’m actually trying to write some kind of fanfic but after about five pages I haven’t quite decided if the main character is male or female yet.

I’m female but in real life I never quite know how to handle people talking to me like I was some kind of typical woman so I could never write that into a story. I usually play males in most games to avoid being referred to as any gender since comments to males always seems more neutral.

Wauuugh, after reading all you guys discussing about the Zevran+Earring+Commitment deal, I want to continue playing my Tabris so I'll be closer to reaching that point, but work gets in the way T_T

So I have to pacify myself with drawing Zevran instead :(

Sorry for the excessive rouge, and that it makes his ear looks diseased swollen. I'm still struggling with watercolours, but liquid watercolors are especially a b*tch to control ;_;

I really think he was either very young or very immature, but maybe he did have a fetish for very short women hitting very big things or something.

No.  Some people make a big deal out of playing a character of the opposite sex, but usually guys get hassled for playing female characters.  But there's no good reason for it.

If authors only depicted characters of their sex, the fiction realm would be a very, very strange place.  I suppose children would have to hatch from pods, or we'd have parthenogenesis or, God/dess forbid, mpreg.

I’m female but in real life I never quite know how to handle people talking to me like I was some kind of typical woman so I could never write that into a story. I usually play males in most games to avoid being referred to as any gender since comments to males always seems more neutral.

I'm not sure what a typical woman is, but if you write a female character she doesn't have to be one.  Thedas in some ways is remarkably liberated (because there are a lot of female gamers!)

Dead topic, but I'd a quick two words. Or a couple of sentences.

Most Thai people would consider "Thai crossdressers" to be quite offensive. Sure, our gender roles, levels of acceptance and facial preferences can be a bit odd (to my eternal frustration whenever I'm in a western-centric society), but the issue itself is more........'triggering' than you might think. Not an...offensive term to call people, as such, although I also think it's hilarious that anyone could compare Zevran to one of those (who actually aren't that effeminate when they put on guy things), but definitely not a term for polite society. Don't get me started on the other terms.

I'm using a lot of brackets today.

My apologies for.......barging into the conversation at the wrong places always, I suppose. And possibly offending people---I was just reading back and going 'wait, what?' at the term, and thought I should mention it. It feels...a little bit more jarring than the usual national stereotypes or gay name-calling, shall we say.

I lurk once more and leave the thread to the usual awesomeness.

P.S. Female, identify as a male, tend to RP as a guy but can RP as a girl and write both sexes. If my corner of society doesn't make it so bloody hard to be neutral, I might be one of those instead. As it is, I shop at the male section of the store for anything except unmentionables, and resist friends/family's attempts to make me 'cute' or 'follow the female dress code' with great gusto. *chuckles* I actually passed as a guy once or twice, back when I had short hair. Wonder if that makes me a 'Thai crossdresser'.

I suppose it’s less of that here than in the typical medival fantasy world or game community. There are some small dialogue changes in the game itself though and so far I always preferred the male conversations. I've seen a few good examples of people writing female characters that act differently than expected but it just that it seems harder to do than to than to write a male character.

Ok, onto NOT serious stuff here. The whole earring/friendship speech got me thinking, so I redid my changes to Charsen's DT compatible ZevRing again and I'll toss up a rapid share link in case anyone is interested in it.

NO change to the earring conversation (I will make one if someone wants it, though).
In the friendship speech, the romance starter line only appears if you're not in a romance with him (I consider you more than a friend). If you ARE in love with him already, you get a line, "I consider you a friend, and more," and this will lead to his friendship dialog there (then allow me to say this, what we are doing blah blah blah).
When he forces a warden to choose between him and Leliana, you get his "non-sex" version no matter what. This is because the had-sex version has line the line, "I know how it is with men and their women." It's ok for a male warden, NOT ok for a female warden. If someone wants this changed, I can do it, just ask. But since the only person I know for sure who is going to be using this is me, I'm not changing it now.
In Arl Eamon's estate, you now get the romance active lines if the romance is active, and yes, this includes the option to kiss (since this IS built on DT after all).
AND all first time sexytime leads to a kiss, not just a few of his comments.

It also fixes the bug introduced in DT .93a where if you change your mind the first time about going to the tent, then the dialog cuts off if you ask him again.  It no longer does that!

SO if you want this, and remember you NEED the DT compatible version of ZevRing for it to run, it's at http://rapidshare.co...vring.rar.html .

Just have the zevran_main.dlg overwrite the current zevran_main.dlg in your ZevRing or DT folder. If you're using the override version of ZevRing, just extract zevran_main.dlg into your override folder.

Edit: Thank you Charsen and Avaraen for making such great mods and making the B2Bs available so I can use and abuse them.  If anyone wants a different version of these changes, let me know.  However, seeing as switching from DT and DT-compatible files to non-DT and vice versa requires me completing reinstalling my toolset, once I unload the DT-compatible version of ZevRing, it's staying unloaded for awhile!
