Hmmm, it's awfully quiet around here lately... Though right now I'm hating on the toolset, here you go! I'll just do the responses dealing with him leaving.
Zevran: Taliesen is dead, I assume. He must be, or you would not have returned. Then it is true... I am free of the Crows. (grim -- Taliesen was once a friend of his)
Zevran: They will assume that I am dead along with Taliesen. So long as I do not make my presence known to them, they will not seek me out. (grim)
Warden: You should have stayed and fought.
Zevran: Believe it or not, despite my feelings about the Crows in general I had no argument with Taliesen in specific. (grim -- he regrets killing Taliesen)
Zevran: He was a good friend whose only fault lie in his priorities. I had no wish to fight him, and truly I would have preferred he not come after us at all. But what is done is done. (grim, regretful)
Two choices here don't lead to the standard: I suppose I could leave now blah blah blah
1st:
Warden: A good friend, was he?
Zevran: He was. And more. But there is no need to relive the past. That is all behind me, now. (grim, "and more" meaning he was once Zevran's lover)
2nd:
Warden: But you let me face him.
Zevran: On the contrary, I let him face you. And I knew he would lose. It was his choice, but that is all done, now. (grim, note that he is correcting the player here -- he let Taliesen face the player, not the other way around. So "him" and "you" should be punched.)
these both lead to the: "I suppose it would be possible for me to leave now..."
There's a few differences in the beginning as well, there's no VO notes here:
Taliesen: And so here is the mighty Grey Warden at long last. The Crows send their greetings, once again.
Zevran: So they sent you, Taliesen? Or did you volunteer for the job?
Taliesen: I volunteered, of course. When I heard that the great Zevran had gone rogue, I simply had to see it for myself.
Zevran: Is that so? Well here I am, in the flesh.
Taliesen: You can return with me, Zevran. I know why you did this, and I don't blame you. It's not too late. Come back and we'll make up a story. Anyone can make a mistake.
This response leads to Zevran staying and fighting no matter what.
Warden: Zevran doesn't need the Crows any longer.
These responses, he'll leave:
Warden: Of course I'd need to be dead, first.
Zevran: And that's not likely to happen.
OR
Warden: Fine. I'll kill you all, if you prefer.
Zevran: Oh, I'm not trying it a second time, trust me.
OR:
Warden: Don't listen to him, Zevran!
Zevran: Do not worry. I am not about to return to the loving arms of the Crows, believe me.
These all go to:
Zevran: You are going to lose, Taliesen. You are going to lose badly. You should have stayed in Antiva.
Taliesen: What? You've gone soft in the head! The Crows will make you pray for death, you fool!
Zevran: Perhaps they will at that. But I'll take what time I have. You have a choice, Taliesen... all of you do.
Taliesen: Traitor!
Zevran: I won't fight against you, Taliesen... We were friends once, and more. But I will leave you to your fate. Good luck.
ACTION: Zevran leaves, half of the assassins also run off. The fight begins
There's always feastday gifts/trying to make him leave.Thank you for all this! I will save it. I always seem to start the romance early and build up approval early, so there's no way for me to get this dialogue without playing through most of a game. (I suppose I could go to a pre-Landsmeet save and lower his approval. I might do that).

Thanks for your patience with all of this.
Since
this happened, we've pulled additional programmers from the main game
teams to help on this and have been running several parallel
investigations non-stop to find potential solutions from our end, as
well as continuing to work with Sony for both dev support and other
options.
Thanks to the great feedback on here and from those
folks we've been in contact with directly, the team now thinks we've
been able to find a code-side workaround from our end to patch DA to
play nicer with firmware 3.3, which was one of our investigation
threads.
At this time I still don't have a date estimate for a
DA patch with this fix however, and unfortunately we do not believe
there is a manual workaround for this (one of the other threads we're
investigating).
We are currently testing this proposed code
change as I write this, and if successful the next step will be for it
to go into EA's publisher side certification testing. They are aware of
the importance of this and will give this priority in the queue of
titles/patches across EA. And once that clears, it will go into Sony
cert testing.
Sorry, wish I had better news to offer already -
but progress is being made and I'll continue to update as we know more.

At least you'll get it? I had to download a mod to be able to play DA without crashing after installing Awakening, and I can hardly play Awakening at all. Particle effects crash the game. Everything's up to date. Haven't heard anything about it, though. I don't mean for this to sound bitter, I mean for it to sound hopeful. They think they have a solution, after all, I imagine they'll implement it ASAP. Sounds like Sony will be the hangup.

@Elps: 1.03 is what's messing with my system as far as particle effects go. I know I'm not the only person having this problem, and they're collecting data (I haven't had a crash recently because I can't make myself play Awakening, but I should so I can submit my data...), but I haven't heard anything yet, so.... tough crap for us, I guess.

No idea where this threads at, and im not reading into what IS currently being said... Here's my take..
I am 100% straight guy, and from a female standpoint, I can understand many many things about Zev that would make him an appealing character to romance with.. I have not personally done it, as I've only played through Origins and Awakenings with the same character.. But heres my take..
(JUST from listening to the dialogue options of Zev, my character was in the +80 approval spectrum and had finished Zev's personal quest)
Zeveran comes off completely confident in himself, and actually has a sense of humor to him, with jokes here and there. Even if there little things that make you chuckle to yourself for a split second.. Yea, he's and elf, and he has an accent... He's a bit brazen, but its his character.. He also has some sophistication to him.. He has his man pants on.. He's confident and he's funny.. With a bit of sauve(spelling?) to him...
In contrast.. We have Alistair, who has all the romantic appeal of someone who's still in junior high.. In-experienced, unsure of himself, and bashful...
Put that in a real situation and you'll get the exact same result nine times out of ten... Is the girl gonna pick the guy who can flirt, make her laugh, and is comfortable in his own skin? Or is she gonna go date the pretty boy who stares at the ground, trips on words, and has no idea what he's doing? Easy choice.
My hint to guys? Take a few hints from Zev's character.. You'll get alonge ALLOT better with the girls if you do.. Trust me.

Only rule: if the Zevthread in any way inspired the creation or continuation of a Zev-themed project, add it. (Mods made for Zevran but not inspired by this thread shouldn't be added, those go on Sresla's big list of Zev mods etc though!). =P
Can be... groups, mods, threads, fanfics, fanarts, blogs, whatever...this is what we will paste to the haters
Then when we're all good and happy let's stick it up on Sresla's group page and bring it out like crispy old photos of semi-naked grandchildren for Thanksgiving.

Oh yes, Sarah, I've had a lot of fun with the feastday stuff. That's how I worked out the approval changes for the earring gift - by using pranks and tent time to edge it up and down. I have a pre-Taliesin save but I'd have to go back further to allow me to get to camp and pick up the pranks. And I'd have to go right back to get a never-romanced Zevran. I do want to give it a go some time, because it would be interesting to develop a romance after killing Taliesin.
There is a lot you can miss out on. Even just with choosing the dialogue options - we've talked here before about some of the interesting things he says if you choose a more negative response in conversation. Some of those things are really worth hearing.
One that I came across by mistake was his response (he was at 100 adore), when you say to Taliesin that you'll kill them all. I thought it meant my character would kill Taliesin and the Crows. No, it's actually a threat to kill Zevran as well. He says quite softly, something like 'There's no need. I did not come here to betray you', then he fights at your side, and still wants to stay with you until death and still offers the earring. He's very forgiving of your lack of trust, and your threat to kill him.
I might see if I can try to make him leave right at the Taliesin save and see what his approval drops to. Thanks for that.
