I know. And of course, for those guys that do, more power to them. i suppose I can understand why. I can even understand why guys like Morrigan, and can understand their fascination, and ultimately, broken hearts for the ending.

I just get annoyed when people bash Zevran and think that you must be an idiot if you like him, yet do not think the same regarding Leliana. i don't think that we would **** about it if such a double standard weren't so prevailent. Well, that, and leliana's annoying stealth love ability. For a character that I never have talent points for stealth, she sure does sneak up on you from nowhere.

@Addai: yes, back to Zevran.  I am thinking of downloading the polygamey mod that allows you to have multiple relationships without having to choose, so I can have my Alistair and eat Zevran too, so we have a nice, happy, polyandrous family as we work to rebuild the Grey Wardens. All we need for perfection is someone to make a Teagan love mod and add him, and all my Christmases will have come at once.

Zevran is ridiculously awesome, and multi talented! he slices! he dices! he warms beds, assassinates things in your tent, fends off unwanted suiters (which sold him to my mage, who was still creeped out about Cullen), polishes armor, or simply sits there and look pretty! And he makes an excellent mascot for your new Warden headquarters, too!

Every adventuring party out to save the world from impending doom needs a Zevran! You just can't slay archdemons without him!

Zevran is not for everyone, but I do get curious if people who don't like him take him with them and talk to him in non-sexual ways. There really is so much more to the character than first appears -- there is a lot of depth that only becomes apparent as you take him places and get to know him.



I'm always surprised when someone doesn't at least like him as a friend.

Not terribly bright, but he has his moments, which is why I love him so, and he makes the perfect team for my human rogue noble. She's the brains, he's the brawn. She does the thinking and the talking, he does the bashing and meat shielding.  A match made in heaven.

With my dwarf noble, she was the brawn and Zev the brains. A womderful team. Lucretia bashes and bullies, and Zevran points out people who need to be bashed and bullied that she didn't notice first time around. And sneaks up behind with a good dose of poisoned blades for insurance. Another heavenly match.

I also find Leliana creepier than Zevran. They are both killers, and use subterfuge and seduction to get to their marks. But when Leliana talks about how much she enjoyed it, (and calling it a 'game' Eh, ooookaaaayyyyy) I half expected her to jump up and down and giggle while clapping her hands.



And yeah. Why can't we fems kiss Tegan? Some of teh stuff he says, the way he says it, the way he LOOKS when he says it, almost made me think this last playthough "He's going to grab the PC and kiss her!" But then let down...Tegan is a tease.

Bann Teagan is just using courtly flattery; not to be taken seriously! It's too bad. And I understand why women aren't given kisses and such -- most strong women in leadership positions do not want to be openly flirted with, especially not in that manner, with as it does diminish their role somewhat. Cammen is a bit different because it's a mean joke, and completely initiated by the warden.

But women also get Isabela! You can't forget her!  So we at least get the bisexual groupies as well!

Sex with Cammen is perhaps the most immersion breaking part of the game for me, because I always imagine the devs sitting at their desks laughing maniacally at the thought of anyone actually pursuing such a horrifying course of action...

Interestingly, I think that females overall get more opportunities to flirt (w/ Duncan on HNF, Cullen as MF, Teagann, Daveth (oh wait that's only in my head), etc etc), but guys get more opportunities for actual physical 'approval' (Bella, Kate, Desire Demon, etc etc). Playing into the whole masculine hero who gets the girl thing, maybe?

Teagann is the worst tease, though. My HNF practically fell in love with him--he was half the reason she went all the way to the mage tower just to save both Isolde and Connor--and yet all she got in the end were gentlemanly words and general praise. She was even willing to look past the fact that he's a lower ranking noble than herself... so how could he not sense her complete and utter love and adoration?!

There are some things I like about Leliana. I all but abandoned her my first playthrough so I'm just now experiencing most of her conversations, and while she creeps me out her sugary sweetness does have its charms. Limited, yes, and not 1/1000th of Zevran's likeability, but it's there. I have to give props to the writers, though, as it seems like the guys tend to think their romances are better, while the girls swear theirs are. David knows too much about people's fantasies, apparently...

I so wish I could figure out how to do screenshots on my laptop, instead of the really lame ones that get auto-snapped.

Had a really great video glitch of both Alistair and I dual leaping to do the take-down of an ogre at the same time.

There was also one fo Zevran being a little late for an ogre take-down and stabing mid-air that I thought was funny.

My husband and I thought it was really funny that after the Zev tent scene, Zevran is all of a sudden standing alot closer to alisatir, and during the after sex talk talk, he's looking over at the PC and Zev all the time. Was pretty funny running through it with PC and Zev in nothing but underclothes. Is Zevran making the convo take place closer to Alisatir to make Alisatir jealous/embarassed? Or is Alistair trying to sneak up on the two of you to listen in to what's going on??

Yeah, Teagan is the worst. "You are brave as well as beautiful, my lady. If only..." Stupid Teagan. Stupid voice actors with lovely voices. I also squee every time Riordan says, "And good luck... sister." Sigh. (Apparently I have a thing for older men??)

The funniest glitch I've had so far was in the Brecilian forest, near the first gravestone with the Revenant. One of the hurlock archers that attack you there glitched, and for a moment he even became blue - like he was an ally. Then he turned white, I couldn't click on him, he was just standing there. I called him Hank the Friendly Hurlock. Hank stood there throughout the entire playthrough, just chillin' in the forest. :3

Aww, the female PCs don't get to tango with the desire demon? Technically that doesn't make any sense, you should totally have that option. It's a demon! And it'll probably look like whoever you want it to! XD

@ Jaulen: For screenshots on a laptop you just need to change the key binding. I *think* it's located under Options > Game Options. I had to change mine as well because of that.

And I, too, love Alistair's positioning during that conversation. It's so obvious he's listening in, trying to figure out what's going on between Zevran and the Warden. That boy couldn't hide his jealousy with a 10-foot tower shield. For some reason he seems to get jealous whether or not he's romancing the Warden, and whether or not the Warden is male or female... I guess it's part of being a virgin.

That post landsmeet bug, where Alistair breaks up with a male character, is one of the funniest ones I've seen, because THAT must be a total shocker, since there's no in game opportunity or monebts to romance Alistair as a male.

I love it when Alistair is interjected into other peoples banters and I so wish he would "hop borders" without glitches, cheating or mods
