And lol Soignee, that is awesome!
You know, Herr, you look awfully dashing in that skirt.

I wanted to have Loki, the first furry-mpreg I know of.

And I have went out in a strapless dress before, but the skirt was a little longer.

I wasn't around these past days (weeks, more likely) and I missed the fan-comic. I just read it, from start to finish. It's amazing! Are you the artist, Ramante? If so, you draw beautifully! Kudos!

How did you get it to stay up??? Not that I really care, mind you, because that's still hot. Meee-ow!

Speaking of which:
Oops, I seem to have dropped something. Would you mind picking that up for me? :innocent:

@Andrea--the comic is drawn by Rooster82.

One word: Beefcake!

It was too small to begin with, but it kept sliding down.

you know, Missa would be a pretty boring person to go out on the town with, just thought about it. She'll doesn't drink, will skulk off if she's bored and will probably refuse to hold your hair if you throw up your late night kebab and pints of ale.

Me on the other hand? Wellllll.... I will get trollied then argue with a coat stand, and/or pass out somewhere if we're making a night of it. Well I am English, you know.

Same in Sweden. You're not really drunk unless you get memory-loss.

Sweet, sweet memory loss. It's like a mystery to find out what happened the day after when your friends shun you.

Drink so fast you can time travel. Build up enough velocity and ZAP! Next thing you know you're waking up in The Future at some random point in space.

Oh, I thought that was an American thing! Ahhhh it's always appreciated when other people remember as little as I do. And always keep brain bleach on hand for the day after when you find out who you made out with. :crying:

That's why you do study abroad somewhere with a lower drinking age so you can drink all you want. :wizard:

In the U.S. the laws are way harsher. A lot of people do start drinking before 21, but the laws here really are just plain stupid, especially for minors in possession of alcohol.

*cries* The other day I went to the liquor store and the guy wouldn't even sell me beer because I have an out-of-state ID. :crying:

I started "proper" drinking around 16, I guess. When I went to A-Level college and discovered the delights of NUS bars. The days of Hooch and Reef! I was smack bang in the middle of the alchopop popularity, so I used to drink all sorts of nonsense that pretty much was like drinking fizzy drinks.

I know better now, internets. It's gin and tonics, single malts and decent beer. Not all at once, obviously.

Wow.  I think I'm the goody-goody of the group.  I actually didn't drink until after I turned 21, and I still only drink rarely.  I'm not a big fan of most alcohol.  I cook with it, drink half a glass of wine, get giggly and hand the rest to my husband who snickers at me.

The Maryland Underage Drinking Prevention Coalition (MUDPC) summarizes the provisions of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 as follows:

“The legal age for alcohol in the USA is 21 years old. The National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 required all states to raise their minimum purchase and public possession of alcohol age to 21. States that did not comply faced a reduction in highway funds under the Federal Highway Aid Act. The U.S. Department of Transportation has determined that all states are in compliance with this act. The national law specifically prohibits purchase and public possession of alcoholic beverages. It does not prohibit persons under 21 (also called youth or minors) from drinking. The term "public possession" is strictly defined and does not apply to possession for the following:

•An established religious purpose, when accompanied by a parent, spouse or legal guardian age 21 or older

•Medical purposes when prescribed or administered by a licensed physician, pharmacist, dentist, nurse, hospital or medical institution

•In private clubs or establishments

•In the course of lawful employment by a duly licensed manufacturer, wholesaler or retailer.” 1 (Emphasis in original. Conspicuously not emphasized is the significant fact that “the law does not prohibit persons under 21 (also called youth or minors) from drinking.”)

The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) subsequently identified 19 states which did not specifically prohibit the consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of 21. However, those states are in compliance with the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. It would appear that such states could legally only charge underage persons with public possession of alcohol, not underage drinking.

The title of the legislation itself is clearly misleading in that the National Minimum Age Drinking Act doesn’t prohibit drinking by persons under the age of 21 (so-called “underage” persons) nor does it require the states to prohibit such drinking. In addition, descriptions of the law contribute to the false belief that it does. For example, the assertion that “the legal age for alcohol in the USA is 21 years old” clearly leaves the false impression that the minimum legal drinking age for alcohol is 21.

How does this make any sense? What does highway funding have to do with drinking? How can you be allowed to drik alcohol but not to own it? Why does this fail so much?

Here you can drink alcohol legally at 18 when in bars etc, and buy/own alcohol at the age of 20. And you can only buy alcohol from a state-owned company (taxes are a [female canine]) unless you import.

The difference would be that you are less likely to be allowed to drink yourself into a stupor when on a bar because 1. It's friggin expensive and 2. They usually don't serve people who have had too much.

I drank one screwdriver while underaged, then didn't really drink much of anything until I was in my early 20's.  I've been drunk once (more or less purposefully ) and woke up at 3 am with a headache and unremitting nausea that lasted almost the entire next day.  With that experience and since I found out last fall my dad's alcoholic my cap is one drink in a day, only a couple days a week at most, and never if I *want* it.
