Poor Alistair! He needs to learn to stop responding to Zevran's comments. Most certainly he needs to stop betting with him, as well.

No. I have Zevran at 100 adore (it SAYS Love, but we all know it's Adore). It completely depends on who's in your party. He will complement Wynne, Morrigan, Leliana and now I know Alistair if they're in the party instead. I had no clue. It was a riot.  Zevran is very generous with his flattery!

Second edit: I wonder if it's random.  The only time I've seen the complement to the warden, though, is when my party has not had the above mentioned characters, though.

I tried resetting the hotkeys for screen shots. Still didn't work. Checking to see if it's been disabled somehow on my laptop.

Spamming accomplished! With what I had readily available, anyway. 
My screenshots directory is a pile of Zevran-adoration, dialogue screenshots, maybe a few funny one-liners from various folks, and maaaaybe some pics of my PCs. Maybe. ;D

I hope you can figure out what's up with your laptop, that's frustrating. :/

Aha, that's it then.  I was running Shale-Zevran dialogues in Orzammar so I only had those two in my party at the time.

I had a great kill scene with the brood mother this last time and I really wish I could have captured her planting both daggers in the broodmother's head and doing a somersault backflip off the broodmother.



Maybe I'll have to go lurk on the PC help pages.

You know, it's the "quick wit" comment that kills me there.  You just can't take his flattery too seriously!

I've had a four party group before, Shale, Zevran and whomever and gotten the "our grey warden'" speech. hadn't seen the Alisatir hopping borders interjection.

It never came up during my CEM playthrough though.

I just use PrtScrn. It's a miracle I even figured that out. Now, if someone could tell me how to get your little character icons and crap not to appear in them?

Just press V and the interface will go away. Unfortunately the circles under your feet will stay if you're zoomed out, and the only way to change that is with the "Circles Be Gone" mod (which I highly recommend).



Jaulen unfortunately I don't know why it's not working for you. You're clicking on the box to change the hotkey, then choosing what key you want? Which key are you trying to set it to?

@Addai: Yeah, my laptop has the PrtScrn function as a fn+PrtScrn, so I tried reprogramming the ingame hotkey to no avail. *sigh*

Maybe I should get a regular old keyboard to hook up to the laptop. i wonder if that would work?

Edit: Can't recall what keys and combo of keys I tried, but once I figured you could reprogram hot keys I spent awhile trying it out.

Double Edit: I also wish you could get screen shots from the PS3 version. I kind of have a mini-crush on my hubby's male Elf Mage. He's a very cute bald thing.

Oh, yeh.  My husband has to do that with his laptop.  The built in one just doesn't work right for gaming.

I just set the screenshot key to F11. I have to use the function key also, but it works for me. If the function keys don't work for you, maybe try just using "L" or another regular key that you don't use.

I encourage everyone to go to the General forum and request Zevran themed merchandise (or at least companion themed). They're asking for our imput in a Bioware created thread and although I do like the 2 t-shirt offerings currently available for Zevran on Cafe Press, if Bioware can do it better, more power. But they won't know we want it unless we say!

I tend to think of it as, "I get a crush on Alistair. Then I fall in love with Zevran." There really isn't any sweetheart romance with Zevran, it just goes from physical off the deep end into something irrepressibly powerful. Alistair will always remain absolutely adorable, but better for a lovely short fling than for long-term investment.

Why of course! I will say that I'm not a fan of his armor in this one but I deleted the save point so can't go back and re-take it, alas. Next playthrough!
