*ETA* ooooh I wonder if our wardens will all get on? I mean, if there was some special universe for all of them to sit around and drink in, and wonder how it would go?

I think Missa and my CE would have gotten on well, other than the whole being in love with the same man thing. Actually they probably would have ended up sleeping together just for kicks one night (Zevran included?), then giggling about it all the next morning while everyone else just gives them the WTF face.

I was teasing. ;)  The lack of TV when he was little was as much because things like food seemed a bit more important than any grand decision about the evils of TV.  Now we're just trying to pay off our student loans before my son is in college.  2 PhDs = expensive pieces of paper :P

hah, i know -- my folks went back to college when i was 10. they're still paying off their loans today... =/
which is why i decided to stop at a Master's. for my plans, it's good enough. i have no interest in academic mathturbation (aka computer science topics 14 people in the world care about).

Yeah, Rica's not very keen on nobility (other than Bhelen and her son) either, is she? Missa would probably have fun trying to horrify her with tales (not all of them need be true, of course) of Dust Town since she's never been allowed near it and they could argue over who had the worst parent. If Missa started winning by pointing out years of being the favorite vs. years of abuse and a mother who wants her to be a ****, she would throw siblings into the debate.

I'm definitely computer impaired. Still trying to link a picture in my post at the top of page 1080 and have so far been spectacularly unsucessful. I can get a link to show up with a little box with a red x in it, but that's all. Am using the [  img  ]  URL  [  /img  ] to get that far.

Feel free to laugh at my lack of computer skills, I'm laughing at them myself.

You could just copy and paste it.

The copy-paste method, of course, doesn't work for the quick-reply.

Good suggestion Sarah.  Finally got it to work.  I was trying to use copy/paste on my screenshots and couldn't get it to work..  Finally got it to work on one of my favorite pics from the deviantart site.

Thank you very much. Image IPB

All I get on a right click is a regular "copy" or "copy shortcut", and a bunch of options about e-mailing and saving the pic.

I just right-clicked, copy, and then pasted into a standard reply to get that. Of course, I also had to click 'allow' when it asked if I wanted to allow the site access to my clipboard.

That might be part of my problem.  I automatically close anything that asks to allow access to my computer.  I opened a second window when I copied the devart site, so that might be the key.

Good morning.   I'll see if I can catch up.

Edit:  You don't want to know what things were like in my day!  So I've deleted all that.

I'm finishing off a silly story.   I wish I had the talent to write serious fanfic, but sadly, it's not to be.

I think I'm going to die of congestive heart failure from barbecue and fried food. And it looks like you guys are a lot busier when I'm not around, so I'll lurk more for a while.

Edit: ::dumps non-smutty kmeme::  Panacea

so i sympathize with you Herr Uhl on the no-cable front, we didn't get cable til i was in highschool (or a real computer for that matter)

I didn't just grow up without cable, I grew up without a TV.  Thus my reading White Fang in second grade, and making a summer project in 8th grade reading all of the classical novels about bad women (Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary, Moll Flanders. . .)

I plan to limit my hypothetical kids' access to TV/internet, although who knows what the medium will look like by that point.

I didn't own a TV until my son was almost 5.  We still don't have cable.  The big pretty TV is connected to the computer and the Xbox.  Does that make me a bad mom? :crying:

No, you're my hero.

About drinking, started going out drinking at around 16 (screw the UK drinking age, I feel sorry for you Americans, you can't drink until your 21 and you have cr*p beer. Although I do prefer Cider and Ale's).

I have a had bit to drink  tonight for the first in a few months (damn medication), although only three pints because someone made me promise to behave. <_<

You started it! o.ó

Tsk, I had good reason to say that.. you started about other women.
What can I say.. I'm very controlling protective. :P

I also told you Hell would feeze over first.

LOL about a meeting of everyone's Wardens. Alleyana would just lurk in the back, drinking up all the coffee/klah/tea and being socially-retarded in silence. She is the master of the eloquent half-shrug and the noncommital grunt.

Oh man, I wish I had something more interesting to say than that. But no, I have the dumb.

yes I am in bed with the laptop. That sounds so dirty... and hmm, purses

I have a mental image of you snoozing amongst piles of dresses, shoes and purses.

so fsking accurate it's not even funny.

I have a pair of shoes that cost more then my furniture combined. I am not a grown up at all. Home is somewhere to sleep and play video games in, occasionally eat a yogurt if I have it. I have boxes of clothes (not a wardrobe system as that's much to organised) and my room is buried in clothes.

My laundry pile= hell.
