On the subject of human nobles; how does the "royal scandal" work out exactly? Is that just a comment from Zevran or does it show up in the epilogue somehow? I have a male HN that I decided is going to try to marry Anora but he is currently involved with both Zev and Morrigan and I can't decide what he is going to do about that.

It's just an additional dialog.  How it goes depends on Zevran's approval and how you answer him.

But they do stay together if you choose the right option and without the epilogue saying they became miserable forever or somehing? I just that if it's not possible it's better if he is with Morrigan who is going to leave anyway.

It has no effect at all on the epilogue if they stay together.  There are a few reasons they may not stay together though (I'm trying not to be TOO spoilerish here).

I think I understand, I’ve done his romance with a couple of other wardens before. I just wanted to know if there would be anything dramatically different so thanks for answering anyway.

I know this is a bit off topic and I appologize, but..Im bout to toss this computer out the window and figured Team Zevran has a ton of smart people posting..Hopefully someone can help..Yep, I did try on the correct forum, but they pointed me to the Wiki, which helped a little but left me still confused...

Question is, any of you Zevvie fans out there familiar with saving .dds files in Photoshop using the Nvidia Plugin? If so, could I please bother you with a couple of questions before I have a mental breakdown.....

Thanks all, sorry again for the off topic post.

I do, either post here or send me a PM and I will do my best to help.

Just to let you all know that the
patch has gone through EA Cert and has now made it to Sony's hands! I
don't have an official release date estimate yet, but with a little bit
of luck we may still see it late this week. I'll update you when we
know more.

The upcoming patch addresses:
- The high rate of crashing on firmware 3.3.
- The issue where redeeming codes was no longer showing the free download items.
- Adds the trophies for the upcoming Darkspawn Chronicles DLC

Once again, my sincere thanks to all of you that posted on here and helped us track this down.

Yah. Sony Time is harsh on us poor PS3 players... The neatest thing is that Fernando had said that EA had given the patch highest priority, and they really did.

Ah well. My brother's letting me play a couple of his games while I wait. I did manage to play about 40 minutes of DA:O last night before a crash, then I said Frag it and decided to annoy myself with DMC4.

If you mean Sony, good luck. They kept claiming their Firmware wasn't the issue, that it was a Hardware malfunction, which translates from Sonyspeak to English as Buy a New System!!

Ahh. Makes sense. EA might be bad with that too. I've never had to contact EA for anything... I'd say keep hounding them :)

EA is horrible with replies, and when they do reply they usually send you elsewhere, claim it is a hardware issue out of their control, or pretend you asked something else entirely. *has gone around in circles with them several times*

Ew. Sounds like the responses people got from Sony about the 3.30 crashes....

Random off-topic, this is what I did last night when too incoherent to write and too insomniac to sleep. :D

Pretty sad that it takes 6-8 hours for me to edit footage and music together, but it takes 20-30+ for me to produce a damn fanart. Meh.

*falls over* Now I run off to sleep before Sami attacks me with the red pen, haha. As in, my face! :D

I liked it. Of course, I hadven't seen Power Rangers in Space since it was actually on when I was around seven so I don't really remember much about the series. Astromena was the red ranger's sister, right? She got kidnapped as a child and then they convinced her to be good for all of two minutes until she got brainwashe again?

Yep, that'd be her. :) PRiS was actually something I loved when it came out, although I couldn't put my finger on why at the time. I was too old to be watching "Power Rangers" by then, but there was much ass-kicking. I was pretty confused, haha.

It was only a fistful of years ago that I got hold of the whole thing in a torrent (it never hit DVD, I'm not sure the series even hit VHS) and re-watched it all, skipping the Giant Monster Battles™ -- which weren't even in every episode -- unless they were plot-related.

The plot's quite dark and just a little gruesome in places. It's the season that literally kills Zordon (blue head in a tube) on camera, the bad guys conquer the universe, etcetera. Astronema herself is snarky and smart and conflicted, bouncing around in shades of grey more than true good or evil at any given point.

Aaaand then the next season turned her into a goody-goody, but we won't go there, hm? Apparently when she becomes a Ranger in that season she's the first to not wear her color, still preferring black. I guess they couldn't weed all the villain out of her...

I roleplayed Astronema -- shades of grey, Astronema -- for years. Someone recently did a video review of the season before hers, and geeking at folks in the comments (and lots of unanimous "@#%^ YEAH, IN SPACE NEXT!" and "IN SPACE WAS THE BEST" and such) got me all nostalgic again. I really really miss writing her! I'm actually seriously thinking of looking for another multiverse game to start over on her in.

Oh, PRiS was also the season that used the least of the Japanese Sentai footage, and Astronema in fact is entirely a US-based creation. She doesn't exist in Sentai. And IIRC, someone got fired for making PRiS too dark. Love it.

It had its campy moments, it was still PR after all, but it also had Ecliptor basically getting raped on screen ( D: I chopped that scene waaaaay down in the video, I should upload the original just for whenever someone snickers at my liking a PR season), the annihilation of the forces of good, Zordon's death, etc. And the tactics Astronema employed after that final hardware-enforced brainwashing killed the guy who'd owned her for her entire life, because there was only room in the universe for one evil monarch. I guess wiping out things like "loyalty" was a mistake there, guys!

They worked a lot of depth and awesomeness into that season. I'm still pissed off that Ecliptor gets turned to dust, since by their own definition loyalty is an aspect of "good" and he had that in spaaades, but hey. It gives her something to be enraged over whenever I play her. Her views on "trust" are awesome, too. She'll go out of her way to make you distrust her, but if you trust her anyway she is trustworthy. If you distrust her as intended, she'll stab you in the back the moment it's useful to do so!

:D I'll shush now. But Astronema is one of my all-time favorite characters in anything, ever. Despite the franchise she comes from. And I wish they'd made a model of her ship! I'd totally be scouring ebay if they had made a Dark Fortress model like they did for the two AI-controlled spaceships the good guys have...

I didn't want to mix this in with all my Astronema-squee, so new post it is. ;)

He does look worried! But it also looks like he's looking off-camera to the right, which is cool. Maybe he saw something moving that shouldn't be, or something. Gotta keep an eye out for those sneaky assassin types. *g* I like it, seeing someone else do in-progress shots has been neat. I usually only see my own MS Paint stuff in stages, hahaha.

It's a distinctive style, like I said -- reminds me a lot of oil pastels. Perhaps oil + ink. That's not a bad thing, I think I would be the last to tell someone otherwise since I like how my stuff looks and it's not the typical fanart either. Distinctive is good! Makes it so folks have a good idea who did it when they look at it, too.

Where is Missa's fan?

I fully agree that Zevran looking somewhere is awesome idea, very in character imo. I also love the full shades of blue in contrast with reds on Missa. I am so useless with color :D

He does look nervous, as if he's listening for something. A Crow attack? His right arm is casually protective. Missa did look a little scared in one of the drafts, I thought, but she doesn't now. I love how it's coming on. It reminds me of old paintings too, wih the texture and details in the clothes.

The one origin I had yet to play was the dwarf noble one.    I've started a couple of character there, and can't decide between them.

There's my badass skinhead warrior:

and my sexy skinhead rogue

At the moment I'm leaning towards the warrior because I always seem to play mages and rogues.   I like playing tanks in MMOs, so I'm going to try her as a tank.   I have a feeling it will be boring.

I don't know what I've got against hair on dwarves with these two.  I made them bald so that I could concentrate on their faces while making them, and then none of the hairstyles seemed to suit, apart from bald or skinhead.

My job is colour! I know it's my specialism, but I fail at everything else. Mainly: anatomy, perspective, being neat...

Also the fan is being painted back in because I like it, but I removed it at the moment as it was distracting me from reding Zev's face at the time.

Thanks! I'm thinking a series of them is in order; I got the biggest urge to work on Loghain Mac Tir after this, his scowly face looks fun to draw and he has an awesome nose. I love painting noses :3

Thanks Sami jo and Sannox! Yeah it's been interesting seeing stuff change myself, will try to make a gif after of all the WIPs to see the process. It'll amuse me, anyway.

I tend to have the opposite feeling. Having a DC skinhead, sure, but Prince or Princess Skinhead? Not so much. That's why I always have to go with hairstyles that look like nobility for DN and HN. Everyone else can look however the hell they want to.
