they still have to review the post, it's not an automatic report -> warning. so a human had to look at the picture and say "Yeah that violates TOS"

I still can't see anything in the link they gave you that would say the Torchwood pictureis 'inappropriate', unless they count kissing as 'sexually explicit'? Surely not. And if they are making an exception for same sex kissing, they are on VERY shaky ground. Are they allowed to do that?

Sure, much of the entire forum will violate TOS in some way - language, sexual innuendo, what-have-you, but what is TOS about this?



posting it again to prove a point. clearly the only thing "questionable" is that it's two guys

what images ever posted on this forum have copyright permission? that would clearly have to be a fake claim on their part to hide their homophobic warning

If they really are claiming that kissing is OK unless it's between men, then they're coming close to violating their own ToS.

Yep, it's most definitely copyright. Anything copyright anywhere in the world is copyright in the US because of the Berne Convention that most countries have signed. The BBC monitors its material very closely and sends out takedown notices all the time. The logo would have had Bioware running scared I think.

i cannot see how copyright can be a claim when there are entire threads where people post funny pictures they find online in the off-topic, or when people post any image at all that's not a picture of their own faces.
