I want to get the kittens out of the cups before someone pours hot tea on them. Small furry animals make me nervous. I'm clumsy and I've known too many that have come to sad ends through being stood on. That's the main reason I have a large dog instead of a small dog. She stands on me and trips me up but doesn't come to any harm herself.

And various folks... now you see why that's my favorite banter in the game! :wub: I believe I have all the banter audio if anyone wants me to do more of these, as I have no idea which ones made it into the game and which didn't. But the tattoo one required it.

*armflails a lot* It's Zevran related, so I'll flail in here!

I managed to snag the LJ username ZevranArainai and decided to put it to use by finding an LJ-based RP game that looked active enough for me to not be pulling my hair out when it dies in a month (I have such terrible luck for joining games) but isn't so frantically crazy-active that I'd have to do a whole scene every day. I have fic and art and stuff to do too, after all.

So I apped at a game I'm not linking yet... simply because I don't know how it will turn out. If I get in and it rocks, I will pimp it here for folks who want to come join in, but no pre-emptive pimping from me.

Anyway, I'm still sitting staring at my sent-in app. XD I... haven't been rejected for an RP app before, but that kind of adds pressure of its own, y'know? Like, will this time be the first? And if I get in, will it die in a month? Will it be too inactive to keep my interest?

Meh, we'll see. RP is a good way to stay inspired, I've found. And it's been known to make my writing level-up. (Plus Zevran + technology is going to be hilarious. Oh multiverse games, how I love thee.)

Oh, and everyone is given this weird communicator thing when they hit the grid, it does text and video and voice and all sorts of things. Not that Zev will have any idea how to use it. In the application, you're asked to write a sample of how you may make use of that (there's a whole comm just for the communicator hijinks that broadcast to everyone on the game). Here's mine. XD It's supposed to be first person and such...

From how I understand it it won't translate something you intend to have in another language, though I could be wrong. Either way, there was my sample:

There is much beeping, bopping, and booping, and some of it is quite prolonged. Apparently someone has accidentally turned the communicator on, and the audio seems to be muffled. Pocket-dialing? There is cursing -- deliberately Antivan -- cursing, sounding like an odd mix of Spanish and Italian but not quite enough to understand much by either. It's hard to tell with a foreign language, but the definitely male voice may be slurring a little. Perhaps he's already found some wine. Or has a concussion. Who knows!

A bang, a thump, and the beeping stops. The cursing, however, does not.

I'll shush now. But god I kinda hate apping to new games. SO MANY QUESTIONS, and the hurry-up-and-wait thing is just argh. XD Thus, *armflaaaaaail!*

Besides, the game's quietness this month is probably due to finals and things, right? Right? Q.Q Maaan. Just my apping is like the kiss of death for these things...

I'm not quite sure if he's already sleeping with some random nameless NPC townsperson and the thing got turned on (haha) while lost under some bedding, or if he's decided the only proper response to drywall and cars is to drink himself into a stupor, or both or what. Figured I'd decide that depending on what responses it got on the game. XD

The game requires a character give up something precious in order to regain a body, so in order to avoid having to app him from early-game or invent a Warden that any other potential Dragon Age players might not agree with, I chose to have him give up memories of the Warden. I figure whoever it was possibly did the Sacrifice, or something, and he's emo about it when he makes the bargain.

So his memory is kind of... punctured, lol. Game events are probably pretty muddled, but it still gives me more to work with than taking him from, say, his ambush.

And waaaangst.  I've never been into multiverse RPs, but that sounds like some pretty awesome set up right there.  If you find this place suitable I might be interested in something.  I don't do online RP much any more--the pacing tends to be all feckerdoodled for my liking.

*snicker* Knowing Zev, he's already in bed with some random NPC. Being drunk probably won't help matters.

Oh ick. That's just.... ew. Giving up something to gain a body there? Not to my liking.
