This would only be my second mutliverse, but I really do like them when they're done well. I have characters I love who are in tiny obscure fandoms (Ramirez from Skies of Arcadia), and others whose canon I mostly can't stand (Astronema from Power Rangers in Space), and some whose fandoms I can barely tolerate (Raistlin from Dragonlance, my readers are awesome but the rest scare me). So if I want to play them, a multiverse is the best option for me.Tellervo wrote...

Hee! Very good to hear, I'm so nervous about it. XDSurrealSadi wrote...
Aro, that's an epic sample RP
I'm not quite sure if he's already sleeping with some random nameless NPC townsperson and the thing got turned on (haha) while lost under some bedding, or if he's decided the only proper response to drywall and cars is to drink himself into a stupor, or both or what. Figured I'd decide that depending on what responses it got on the game. XD
The game requires a character give up something precious in order to regain a body, so in order to avoid having to app him from early-game or invent a Warden that any other potential Dragon Age players might not agree with, I chose to have him give up memories of the Warden. I figure whoever it was possibly did the Sacrifice, or something, and he's emo about it when he makes the bargain.
So his memory is kind of... punctured, lol. Game events are probably pretty muddled, but it still gives me more to work with than taking him from, say, his ambush.
And waaaangst. I've never been into multiverse RPs, but that sounds like some pretty awesome set up right there. If you find this place suitable I might be interested in something. I don't do online RP much any more--the pacing tends to be all feckerdoodled for my liking.
If we're both in a game we can scene whenever~ I'll even put my hair in pigtails at least once.
It wasn't to my liking either until I realized it would be my one way around the "Warden" issue that let me keep most of the game in his brain. Folks give up items, or memories, or sight, or use of one limb, etc. One guy gave up the ability to fall asleep. It has potential for good RP sparking. If dumping the Warden memories wasn't the thing to make Zevran from late-game/end-game playable without inventing an OC, I'd come up with something much more interesting.SurrealSadi wrote...
*snicker* Knowing Zev, he's already in bed with some random NPC. Being drunk probably won't help matters.
Oh ick. That's just.... ew. Giving up something to gain a body there? Not to my liking.
