...You can do that?  Wow.  Four playthroughs and I never found that feature.

Although when it comes to climbing cliffs, I've found that driving diagonally works a lot better than driving straight up.  Zig-zag if you have to.  It takes a lot of the frustration out of using the Mako.

LOL Yep, I saw the option in my map menu when I was 75% done with the game. I was pissed I didn't see it sooner. But since employing the blinking flag, planetside trips do NOT take over 15 minutes now.

Well, I'm going to be playing both for sure, and I think it is better I do BG2 first. I think I'll like PS:T better as I like story better than combat.  Thanks CZ, that cemented it for me!

Arundor and UpiH, thank you so much for the links! Now hopefully, I can argue with these things so they run on Vista 64. Then again, DOSBox does with just a little coaxing (gogo old DOS games), so I imagine these will as well.

I don't have it, but I've been reading through screenshots of the codex entries. If anyone is curious about Zevran, the DC story is that Alistair spared him but didn't recruit him. In an attempt to flee the Crows, Zevran went into hiding in the Denerim Alienage.

Edit -  The full entry:

Zevran was an Antivan Crow who was sent to Fereldan to kill Alistair, a Grey Warden. Alistair defeated Zevran and spared the would-be assassin's life, on the condition that Zevran never show his face again. Fearing reprisal from the Crows for his failure, Zevran went into hiding in Denerim's elven alienage.

Besides, that passage says, Zev went hiding into the Alienage, aren't you supposed to fight your way through it?

Yes, I'm aware it's a known fact that you fight Zevran in Darkspawn Chronicles. 

Prior the release of the DLC we knew that Zevran would be in it, but there had also been some curiosity as to why he was there since it seemed unlikely that Alistair would choose to recruit him.

My post was intended to explain how it all worked out in the DLC alternate universe.
