what rp? is it something on the forums here or somewhere else? lol, do you get to play as DA peoples or is it just like pick any character?

I apped as Zevran in a multiverse game on livejournal. Multiverse means that folks app characters from anywhere and they're dropped into a sort of neutral territory, frequently a modern setting since that's what we the players are most familiar with. This one takes a few interesting spins on the standard set-up, though.

I'm not linking to it until I know if it's dead/dying, etc. Which I won't know for a good long while yet. :/ It took a while for my app to be answered, which is fine, but combined with how quiet the communities have been I'm just hoping everyone's been busy for the last few weeks, and not that interest has waned. Just my apping at a game is like the kiss of death, I swear.

If the place still looks promising in a few weeks or so, I'll start pimping it for anyone who wants to interact with Zevran as I play him. I've been burned really hard when advertising for games I've been on before, where a bunch of people trot in, app, and it's crickets chirping. And then after that, no one takes my game-pimping to heart.

So now I wait until I'm reasonably sure it's not two days dead and/or contaminated with crazy. No offense if anyone from there sees this, I dunno you guys yet!

for the rp thing, sounds good... can you bring in OC's as well? and do you do those often? i am to shy to do it if I don't know someone in there normally so I don't look but I've never thought of having an already made fictional character in, like Zevran who I'd love to play with:3 also, my cat says hi-_-

Most games of this kind don't allow OCs, because of the vast number of series/games/books/whatnot already in play. The one I just joined doesn't either, but it allows you to app anyone from anything. We even have a Dr. Horrible, a Deadpool, and a Rimmer from Red Dwarf. Most of the characters folks are playing are unfamiliar to me, but I'm used to this. These types of games have introduced me to good shows/manga/books/etc before.

If this one doesn't work out for some reason, I'll probably go in search of another one. I really want to play Astronema again, too, and she's only any real good in a multiverse game.
