OK now here is my ****ty response to all this BS about elves not having asses. It was going to be an awesome response except that drawing with a TRACKPAD on the computer (in 5 minutes) is NO FUN so it looks like CRAP. STILL. MY ELF HAS AN ASS NOW LEAVE ME ALONE OK.

I have some Cherokee blood in me and I think of the Dalish elves in those terms. Most of the Dalish elves I've made in the past I even thought in that mind set while I created them. I really don't know who struck first, but I think both sides have reasons to believe the way they do.



I know when I was in H.S. I had to take an Ohio history class and it used the term "savage" whenever it spoke of native Americans. any battle that was lead by these "savages" was a massacre.. but if it was the troops that did it...it was a glorious victory. (if you can't tell..I hated that class)



so yeah, I think the Dalish elves are personal to some people for different reasons. I just wish the origin would have been fleshed out a bit more.



I'm not trying to start anything back up or anything. it's just 2 in the morning here and I can't sleep..so I'm babbling.

And I really have no reason to associate the Dalish with anything and just see them as a fictional group of people in a fictional setting with a fictional history and situation so without that person connection that might explain why they just annoy me. Maybe if I hadn't played that origin last but as it was I did so it was just more of the same impression I got from visiting the Dalish camp except not directed towards me.

Close, it's fade shroud.  Incredibly useful, but your character looks extremely weird.  I forgot to turn it off before this character hopped into the tent with Zev, and the screenies are pretty funny.  See-through Warden makes nookie more interesting.

Return to Ostagar has me raaaaging right now.  I know I'm way too pedantic for my own good, but the weirdly OOC banter, and breaking suspension of belief by putting the credits into the codex (among other things) are just really bugging me at the moment.  I decided to just disable the DLC but the journal entry and map location are sticking around in my saved game anyway, which irritates my pendantic self even more.

I searched around to see if I could find any Riordan dialogue from after his suicide attack. This is the only thing I could see:

Riordan: I have failed, Wardens. I am sorry.
VO comment: Riordan has just attacked the dragon, which he swore to kill -- and was thrown off the beast and is plunging to his death. As he falls he sees the dragon crash to the ground but it is only injured. So he has failed his mission. What he says here is with deep emotion, sworn under his breath as he falls. He is apologizing to the player, essentially, since he knows that killing the dragon now falls to him.

I'm not a toolset expert so it's possible there is more in there somewhere that I didn't find.
