Alright, I surrender. I'm asking the experts. I've read the wonderful Ejoslin guide, I've installed ZDF, Zevring, and ZDF, I've uninstalled everything that even may remotely mess with things. I did the breakup with Alistair post landsmeet, thinking to fall into Zev's arms, which in a sense...worked. I got that amazing Dwarf+Zev scene, I got the earring, refused the earring correctly, got the second offer...accepted it. Thats when it all go kablooey. No ring in the inventory, no kiss...I'm this close to scrapping this playthrough.

I also, have done this successfully in the past, with romancing Zev the whole game. Everything went flawlessly. I can't figure out what's going wrong this time. He's even at "love" before the second offer.

Help? Please?

hmm, sorry you're having some problems with this. hopefully we can figure it out before you scrap the play-thru.

there could be a lot of things going on. like EJ said, the zevring mod will be using your zevran_main.dlg/dlb files so check your mods in your override folder and also the ones that are dazips to make sure only zevring's zevran_main.dlg is there. this is the most probable cause (might even do a pc search to be sure). 

also you installed ZDF twice or did you mean a different mod the 2nd time?

Hmmmm, if you didn't get the kiss, it sounds like a problem with either ZevRing not being installed OR another mod that changes zevran_main.dlg (did you delete zevran_main.dlg from DT?) being installed.

No, only installed it once, I just typed it twice in my flailing...lol

It was DT that was the culprit. So many mods to deal with to get the best romance scenes...but worth it in the end. I'm still "OMG" over that scene...

Well my pre-tent kiss seems shorter, but possibly when I put some of my mods back that i moved in desperation that may resolve. I hope.

there is a (dialogue tweaks) DT and regular version of zevring, only install the DT one if you have DT active (and regular if not) -- that's the only thing i can think of that might affect the kisses unless it's a different mod.

Seneschal Varel, the only character in Awakening that I did not, at some point, wish to punt. In fact, he's pretty, ah, interesting, for an older guy.

It's back, I put my "kisses" folder back in, I definitely have the DT version of zevring, and ZDF, I think I just need gatekisses at this point before I go further.  Unless that's what that kisses folder was...my mind is mush after that scene.

My dwarves will probably only ever romance Zev now (well minus one thats apparently power hungry)...I blame you and Ejoslin for this.

Okay, I survived. I did get rained on a bit, though. Stupid weather...

I went to the pub, it was alright. Got one last drink in and then felt like an idiot as it was just before last orders at the bar.

Sounds like every day here for the last 10 months. friggin wet, or bonus...today was sunny, windy and pouring. Eff you Pcific Northwest...just eff you.<_<

It was a thunderstorm and then it continued to rain, and I have 3km to the nearest part of civilization and lack car.

It was ridiculous. I'm home for the summer now so I told my parents I was going to meet my friend at the park and they were like 'Oh, it's supposed to rain' and then the minute I step out of the house, what does it start to do? Rain. Fortunately she lived close by but it was still so very wet!
