This was my very first dwarf. Well, at least to make it past Ostagar. For the first time I wished Oghren was an option. I wish she'd have gone with Zev from the beginning. But at least she figured it out by the end. Seems like Zev was made for dwarves.

I think Zevran's romance is done better if it's done slowly.  He is fighting falling in love so hard, but bit by bit his defenses crumble.  It's very sweet and sad at the same time, how he tries to keep the warden at a distance but doesn't quite manage to do so.

My next dwarf will do it right, I rushed it on my city elf...having her ask him to her tent first. It's much better when he does the asking. What I wasn't expecting was the kiss AFTER, my heart literally thumped at "My Grey Warden...I'm with you until the end". So glad I got all the mods for him.

Hmm thinking about it, maybe I'll replay a city elf too...

That after...  That's put in by dialog tweaks.  And yes, it's a good change.  If you have sex with him before he's in love, or in the vanilla game, the after talk is QUITE different!

Was it something DT fixed that was supposed to be there? Or added to spice it up I wonder. I forget what the pre-love/vanilla one was completely my city elf has been done for quite a while.

I'm in envy of you PC users mods. That sounds so sweet. I only have the PS3 version so I don't get to witness all these lovely dialog tweaks.

No, DT made it up whole cloth. The dialog is recycled. The after talk as is does not really work if he's in love as he's already declared his intentions, especially if he and the warden are engaged.

Ahh yes, I just loaded up my nevergoingtomakeit mage and checked it out. That would definitely suck to hear after you get that far with him. Hmm...now to make sure my commoner dwarf doesn't fall into the tent before the landsmeet...thats going to be so hard...lol

Everything in Ejoslin's signature is a good start

Edit: especially the FAQ. Zev's romance is complicated compared to Alistair's and very...twitchy. And alot of the mods that make it as good as it was intended are linked within her FAQ.

Hm. true.. But leaving him alive while Revan goes off to save the Galaxy, probably getting herself killed in the process, hurts him more.
