That wouldn't be nearly bad enough. >:{ After that scene in the jail? No, no. I *rushed* to Denerim to find out in hardly six months he'd already knocked some broad up? I did it *first*, right after Lothering! It's only hardly made better by the fact he apologizes like a kicked puppy after you cuss him out over it.

My DN was too freaking proud to make a scene over it. She wouldn't even ask him to hold her one last time because she didn't want to compound the scandal. Kind of image obsessed, that one. Mostly, it just sounded like he was trying to get rid of her once the subject of his getting married came up.

Maybe his new wife can't cook to save her life either but insists on making every meal for him an won't hear otherwise.

That would be like if Leliana came up to me in Awakening (about the same amount of time since I would have last seen her, too) to tell me she got married to some guy. I'd be happy for her but anyone who was dating her...not so much.

And they just post more screenshots and try their best to traumatize anyone who happens to go in there, though. They are, surprisingly, talking about Alistair right now, though. I still don't get how they think this thread is the scary one just because it gave birth to the Alicorn...

Yeah, they were going on about how the DE/Alstair (or really any non-HN/Alistair) pairing is like Romeo and Juliet and if they didn't scare me I would have mentioned that they weren't really in love they were just stupid hormonal teenagers.

Yeah, when I posted that link and they started reading it...apparently they couldn't handle that much beauty before throwing their computer across the room and whenever I hit the top of the page I posted the Alicorn because I really don't have any other Alistair pictures.

And let me tell you: if I find out that Kaidan got married in the time between ME2 and ME3 I will probably end up killing him. There's only so much of that you can be expected to take, after all.

Which ME party members do you like besides Garrus, Legion, and the DLC characters?

Beside Garrus, legion and Kasumi(sorry hate zaeed as well)

Mordin is my BFF with Garrus and Legion(not that legion knows what a BFF is), and Wrex

I also like Samara and Jack*gasp* but not even close to how much I like Mordin, Garrus and Legion (kasumi is ranked #4 on my list)

I have to agree with CZ on Mordin - he is awesome. I thought his character got some of the best development in ME2. I was really glad they brough Garrus back, as he was one of my favorites from ME1. Grunt was okay but no where near as much fun as Wrex. I only picked Legion up at the very end so I didn't get to know him very well.



Now CZ is going to laugh at me when I confess my Shep is still waiting for Kaiden. Of course he has some explaining to do after Horizon.

Tbh doubt that's very accurate.  Whenever i take a peek in this thread it's pages and pages of pics of mostly naked guys with either token Zevran or plain without. Would be quite surprised it it didn't come out ahead picture-wise if someone did a count.

Now, if you limit that just to the in-game screenshots then yes, Alistair thread probably has more of those.

That's mostly limited to Fridays, though. The Alistair thread does it every day of the week.

I don't think any pairing in the game is like Romeo and Juliet.   It's just not a good story to compare the romances to.  

Thnking about it, one of the differences between the in game romances and romance stories (books/plays/films) is that the in game ones are more straightforward.   In stories, usually there are some major obstacles to love that have to be overcome, or not.   Maybe that's why the Alistair romance can be seen as more romantic - because there is often an obstacle, if he becomes king. The Zevran romance doesn't have obstacles.  Zevran has an internal obstacle, maybe, but he sorts it out himself, 'off camera'.   The PC isn't involved.

(Not that I'm saying romances with obstacles are more romantic in real life.  Quite the opposite, if anything.  Just that the obstacles are necessary to make a 'romance' in fiction).

Well, any and all origin romances have shades of Romeo/Juliet in them or at least another Shakespeare tragedy. They'll never, ever lat no matter what you do...
