Hahaha, that reminds me, we're finally getting rid of the other car that was abandoned here soonish, and then I will totally be able to park Jack sideways and at other odd angles in the driveway. It will be awesome. *is easily entertained sometimes*

Anyway.  Can't have the Alithread catching up.  

This makes me happy:

This means that I'll have to get all the different races and sexes to the gates to see all the Loghain kisses.   I think I will have to go back and play my original dwarf (my avatar) from the Landsmeet, so that she can kiss Loghain.   She had a thing about him right from the moment she saw him at Ostagar.   She would have spared him, but she owed Alistair a favour.   Damn you, Alistair.  

Meanwhile, my elf, in the picture, now has three gatekisses - Morrigan, Loghain and Zevran in that order.  In fact, if he picks them all for the last battle, he gets to snog his whole party!  Which he completely would do. 

I love the Loghain kiss.    I don't even know if it's OOC.  He thinks he's going to die anyway, and I can see him thinking 'what the hell;.   It's so funny when my elf tries to talk to him afterwards and he doesn't mention it.   Doesn't everybody kiss their leader before a fight?  Isn't that the custom?

And just for sh*ts and giggles, have a fight between Jack's namesake and a @#$%damned giant. Air-battles get boring to sit there and watch after a little while, so just watch it long enough to see some swooping around in-game and you're good! *thumbs up*

Don't mind me. Skies of Arcadia is the game that almost ended up with me getting tattoos on my shoulders, so... yeah. I like it a little.

How did I miss this getting added?  Damnit, I don't have a character who kept Loghain yet! (Only one of mine has gotten that far, and she didn't. Although I do have a save right before the landsmeet itself... *ponders*)

That giant it scary and creepy.   I like the ship though.   The giant just reminded me of Yoshi the Giant.  Did anyone ever play that?   My son and I used to play it when he was little.  I'd try to be a good giant and end up standing on people and squashing them accidently and they'd hate me.   So like real life.  My son, meanwhile, would try to do things that he wasn't meant to do, like walk off the edge of the world.  If you didn't get the right ingredients to help your people build their building it would end up looking like a massive dog turd, which made me laugh.  Yes, dog turds are funny!   I'm not sure that it was on the same intellectual level as Skies of Arcadia.  But the giant reminded me of it.

Mina, you don't want Loghain to do the ritual and stay alive?  I still haven't had anyone die at the archdemon.   I can't think of a good enough reason to turn down the ritual. 

I've just realised that if take my dwarf back to the Landsmeet to get Loghain, she will have to persuade him to do the ritual and probably finish the archdemon fight to have a save for Awakening.  I have already started her in Awakening, but I don't want to play it without Loghain if I could have him there.

Is that a mod or can that actually happen?  I have to say it looks cute and I never thought that would be possible when it came to loghain

Haha, the giant is actually one of the Gigas', Grendel of the green moon. It's sort of like going to battle with an ancient semi-sentient weapon that just woke up cranky and was once used -- along with a few others -- to tear the world literally apart.

Recumen is the creepy scary one in my opinion. RECUMEN. AAAAH. Freaky mofo. Skip to 2:00 to skip the plot-stuff.

Grendel's got nothing on Recumen for freaky factor. It still gets me a bit, since my first SoA playthrough was completely unspoiler'd and I was like OMG IT'S RIGHT THERE?! I think it's knowing that I ran right between its heads, over its body a few times without ever even knowing it until it was woken up.

And then it wakes up. And it's all staaaaaare. And lazors. And OH GOD.

Grendel's got nothing on Recumen for freaky factor.

But then my car the ship comes back and saaaaves ussss. <3 Yay Jack! Well, Drachma was the guy piloting it, but still. It's the Little Jack! FECK YEAH HARPOON CANNON TIME!



God I miss that game, haha.

@ Nunu It's Charsen's mod. I wish Loghain was romanceable. That would make such a great romance story. But as he's not, the kiss is wonderful and suggests all sorts of feelings and sexual tension under the surface.

@UpiH I don't know why that is. I suppose looking at a whole page of posts only counts as one view, but still you'd expect the lurkers to up the numbers. Maybe we don't have lurkers! Maybe we talk more than we listen!

Good afternoon/morning!
I went back to the Landsmeet with my dwarf commoner just to pick up Loghain, just so that she can kiss him. I didn't have the DLC when I played that character so off we went to Ostagar. He has a lot to say there. So has Wynne. You can't shut the pair of them up. Couldn't get a word in edgeways. We left Cailan for the wolves this time, in the hope that it might shut Wynne up for 2 seconds. I can't decide whether to rush to Redcliffe to get the kiss, or to do Soldier's Peak   first.  I wasn't even meaning to play DA at all!
