Okay, so I wrote a time travel story awhile back and the main character (who started at eleven and ended at fourteen) said that he didn't want to get involved with his future wife because it was pedophilia. Now, I know that's not the technical term and I've gotten a few reviews about what IS the proper term but one I just got today was all offended because apparently many cultures are fine with adults going after young teenagers. I know that's not the case in my culture and I'm pretty sure it's not the case in the UK where the story takes place in. Just the same, I've never been to Europe so can someone from the UK confirm or deny that for me?

Eurovision Song Contest.

Can't remember many songs or melodies from that contest. Abba and a couple of French winners off the top of my hat.

I remember this one and the Swedish winners.

Edit: And that friggin Norwegian that has haunted me throughout the whole year.

Ouch, earworms. They made a localized version on that one, too, of course.

How old was he when he time-traveled and how old was he once he came back?

23 and then 11 and his wife was 10. Then the story ended with him at 14 and his wife at 13.

@Sarah, it's not allowed in the UK.. MG told me I wasn't allowed to go after Herr Uhl because that would be sort of illegal. >>'

You wanna add insult to injury? No, at least in the Nordic Countries, that's an abomination.

I like girly men. Some of us ladies do, you know. I like men who I can talk to about shoes with. I like men who can tolerate shopping and can actually dress themselves and have a distinct style that makes me go DAMNNN YOU LOOK NICE, SON. I like metrosexuals, I can steal their moisturiser! And their skinny jeans.

Hmm.. I disagree. Girly men make great friends, but I don't see them as boyfriend-material.
Sorry Herr Uhl, no love for you tonight. :P

I can do none of those things that she mentions well.

Well, I can dress myself, but I've never been complimented on it.

In the UK, 16 is the age of consent.    Relationships between consenting underage teenagers tend to be overlooked.   If the child is under 13, though, it seems to be considered more serious.    I don't think anyone would bother to prosecute your 13 and 14 year old partners, for having a relationship.   Your 23 year old and 10 year old would be a completely different case.

I wouldn't say that the UK was 'fine' with older adults (20s) going out with underage teenagers (14, 15).  It's disapproved of.  It does happen though, and doesn't seem to come to court usually, unless the adult is a teacher or something simliar.   At aged 13 and below, though, I think it would be much more likely that there would be a prosecution, or social services getting involved at least.

Landsmeet photos, with obligatory kneepads:

Image IPB

Loghain lives, Alistair is going to angrily marry Anora. I wouldn't want be there at their wedding night, lol. But she seem to know how to handle him and calm him down. Maybe he will talk to Warden again one day ...
And Zevran is Warden's champion of course! :3

You have no idea. I've experienced that it played on 4 radio stations at the same time when driving. There is no escape!
