Edit: I'd call the bottom one and the one third from the bottom as well both red.

I'd call the third from the bottom blonde and it's hard to tell with the bottom but I'm leaning towards brown.

Similarly, how am I supposed to believe that this is a redhead

I wouldn't consider her a redhead either. Not even a light auburn. They should have tinted her hair a bit, I think. Ron, however, yes, very red!

my internets went out for a few hours. Anyway, thanks for all the compliments. I get told that (that i'm cute, whatever), but I'm 34 (will be 35 in july) and have been single way more then i've been in any kind of a relationship. but I have a good self image of myself and am ok with that.

I have never dyed my hair but have often been told that I would need to if I ever wanted to try being emo. I'm actually not sure why that comes up so often...

I've dyed my hair red way more often then any other color. I started in my senior year of h.s.

Did you accidentally use the same color as your hair, dye it wrong, or was it a defective bottle? I suppose there could be other possibilities but I can't think of any.

Nope, it turns out that even with blonde hair I would need to either bleach it or perm it before it will hold in the dye. I tried dying it brunette twice with the help of my friend who dyes her hair all the time, so we were definitely doing things right, but nothing happened. I heard from hair colorists about the bleaching and perming tricks, so there we go.

I have a dear friend whose hair won't hold color either. She's blonde. She tries to go red, and within three days, she's blonde.

I used to dye my hair all the time. Blue black, purple, burgundy, red, orange. Very often with brighter colors in as highlights (pink, orange, purple, blue). Oooooh, and the black eyeliner and dark purple lipstick. Fun times!
