As for the fanart I linked, it's Raistlin to me. *shrug* And the little smirk/start of a sneer fits him perfectly.
Don't get mad at me, I was just trying to urge you to draw a Raistl of your own and then share it with us, naturally.
I've drawn him five different times, none of them very good. Six if you count a remake/rebuild which somewhat redeemed the one picture. Drawing Raistlin taught me a ton about color in Paint, though. Trying to color someone with golden skin in MS Paint without making them orange or green or just tanned was... an interesting way to learn about skin tone.
Just this last January I ripped his face off in one of my two TAF pictures and completely redid it from the skull up, which it desperately needed. I didn't understand the anatomy of a face in 2005 like I do now, and the original was poofy and retarded. But it's a "couple" shot, so I doubt anyone cares. No TAF readers here that I know of. Still, I'll take the bait: here's a preview of the original:

And here's the fix, five years later:

Since I was keeping track in the method you guys are used to from me by the time I fixed it, here's
the reconstruction's folder. It took six and a half hours to redo his head and touch-up the picture in general.
Among my others is one that looks Disney-ish and retarded, but was my first attempt at him and at least was from an interesting angle.

There's another TAF picture from the side that just doesn't look like him at all, because -- again -- I didn't know facial structure, although the shading was so nice that I haven't ripped it apart for reconstrunction.

There was a topless bath-tub scene from my short-lived slashfic with Tannusen where my anatomy was Dragon Age-esque; the heads were
too effing small and the shoulders too big.

Another was an attempt at bondage psychological introspection from the same story the bath-tub shot was from, which was good, but it was with bad general anatomy, which was bad. Only time I've done bare feet, though, and they turned out pretty good.

TAF, for all that most of it is pretty old, is a pretty successful fanfic series, especially for Dragonlance. TAF 04 doubled in size last December when I suddenly un-blocked on it and spewed out 50,000 words within the one month. Chapters 16-29 I'm actually pretty effing proud of. Probably the best writing I've done. The stuff from 2002--2005... not as much.
