I that kiss though its less of a kiss and mroe of a face sucking session Zev is so forceful during it which makes it odd thats hes the submissive one for Human/dwarf males

Kazander's face grew longer with each addition to the list of Chayla's exalted kin.  "I obey, mighty athri.  I will not touch.  I would not dare!  But you wouldn't be so cruel as to forbid me to look, would you?"

lol I can totally hear all of that in Zev's accent now.  This is take from Stronghold by Melanie Rawn, if anyone is interested.  Kazander is a fantastic character.

Sorry for so manny posts in a row... but no matter how I go about catching up, it's going to be a mess. 

This just begged to be replied to!  OMG, yes, he does sound like someone I know.  my dear Dristen is quite enamored with him.  LOL 

I've had some charming and pervy characters, yet somehow none of them are like Zevran.  I'm a tad jealous. 



And on an unrelated note... I realy wish I had Zev for Redcliff and the Circle.  D:  I had already done those, and stubled upon the ambush when I was doing some Redcliff chanters board missions on the way to the Brecelian Forest.  At least I have new material to look forward to for my next file.  Dristen would have got Zev sooner if I'd known how.  lol  But Dristen... he'll have all his best hopes confirmed at landsmeet.  They've bonded so much just from the dialogue.... well... and the constant bedding.   But I like to think it's not meeningless to them.  They take comfort in eachother, obviously.  So it makes sence. 

I realy want to work Dristen's story into a fan comic.  Wish me luck!  And yell at me from time to time!

Oh, oh, and also.... whomever posted that screencap of Zev right after Taliesen's death...aw... that look.  I suspected it would hurt him.  Well.... at least... though it ended badly, Taliesen was loved, too.  It makes you wonder how many people Zevran has cared for and lost in the Crows.  Certainly not the cold blooded killer his masters wanted him to be.  I guess his cruelty towards Rinna was his desperate atempt at being what they wanted... to make it easier, since he thought she'd been manipulating him and was a traitor.  Oh man... the more you read between the lines with him... ;__;

When you say to him 'but Death Happens'... oh... it's so cruel to throw it back in his face, but it seems like such a turning point, too.... the look of sheer missery on his face as he repeats those words back, and the bitterness and disguest in his voice... I think despite the fact that it was an important character development moment, I F9'd because I just couldn't have that be part of Dristen's history.  *cringe*  Dristen can have a verry hardened side to him when necasary, but not enough to confront Zev with his own little motto right when he's already hurting so badly... I could see my HN being callous and tortured by his own loss enough to throw it in Zev's face, though.  The whole Death Happens thing is really going to go over bad with my Cousland, for obvious reasons.  But he will end up caring for and respecting Zev in the end.


Ooooh... I wonder how Zev will react to the Blood Mage's plight in the dungion.  Morrigan gave Dristan ... uh... ether +10 or +15 for letting him out and telling him he's giving him this chance to escape.  She seems to have an afinity for people who fight for their freedom... though I could be wrong.  She's very hard to read.  But it's a side of her I like.  I only got -1 out of her for helping the Mages in the Circle.  Now I'm so very curious about how Zev will react to these scenarios, haveing lived as a slave for so long himself.

Heh, I found myself idly hitting F1 F2 F1 F2 until I heard "Si, Amora," then I went back to running them around.  I think I actually do that WAY too often.  It's the best reason for having him at 100 adore early 

Huh... I only tried that once, I thought Zevran's answer was something like "sometimes", but I can't remember what happened... gotta go try that now. ;D

Well... My Dalish kind of blundered along quite a bit before he got in bed with Zev.  It was really funny, because when my Dristen wasn't being streight forward and giving Zev what he wanted, Zev turned out to be quite playful and do the same right back!

Basically, Dristen had been receptive of Zev's atention, but said he wasn't sure how he fealt, so he didn't get invited to the tent by Zev.   Then after the romance with Morrigan started to grow cold, and Dristen got lonely, he tried to get Zev to go to the tent to 'talk in private', becase from my POV, Dristen is totally on edge and aprehensive but wants it soooo bad.... But then Zev acts like an ass... pulling this 'YAAAAAWN  But I'm sooooo tired, can't this wait untill morning?'  Dialogue... XD  So Dristen... oh godz, what was the next bit of dialogue... I can't remember!!!  Whatever it was, it ended this conversation tree, but in a way that Zev found cute.. I got like... maybe +5 points or something.  He seemed very amused.

So Dristen backed off and waited untill the next night at camp before he tried again. 
Dristen:  Will you join me in my tent?
Zevran:  Oh, I think I recall having this conversation before.... And what will we do in your tent?
Dristen:  We'll think of something.
Zevran: (looking very amused and endeared might I add)  You know, I would make an awful merchant... I've never been good with figures... (he says this as he grabs my shy looking elf cradling his jaw, and leaning in realy close with the sexiest predatory look on his face before he kisses him, verry deaply. )

Yeah... it was great... Dristen was putty in his hands... wich made the whole 'Grey Warden bottoming for his would be asailant' scene make a whole lot more sence.  XD  Oh, and of COURSE, when we leave the tent, Alistair is no longer on his side of the bonfire, he's like, freeking inches away stairing at us.  XD  Which just made the whole scene that much more epic.  Oh the fanfic fodder!

Hahahaha, omg, I had to try this. And every single time, my game bugged on me, in EVERY file. GAH! *sigh* It must be a mod conflict, because afterwards, every time I invited him to the tent, it just ended the conversation. I guess even my game files find him too irresistible!

Oh god, I know, I totaly wasn't expecting there to be a special scenario... XD  This pretty much set the tone for their relationship.  Zev quickly corupted the innocent and the inocent quickly started prying for info constantly and seeming rather naive at times... strong willed, but still..  It's a cute relationship... Zev looks a bit older than Dristen, too, so that works perfectly for this dynamic... and I learned his Assassination techniques, which I fealt was a really special thing because at least in my mind, it's like the PC is really showing that he acsepts Zevran as he is... doesn't see the whole assassin aspect of him as the dirty thing to be avoided as much as a usefull skill.  I love it when Zev agrees to teach it... his demeanor is so sweet and endearing... it's a breif convo, but he seemed pretty happy about it, and the line 'don't worry, I'll make it fun for you' seemed very sweet... I mean... considering his training was certainly not fun for him.  *hugs Zev*  My Dristen was just so smiten with him. 


Alistair is the best because he stands so freeking close to the opening of the tent, ... and that's not where he is stationed BEFORE I engage Zevran in the 'something personal' talk.  Then there's his jealous banter with my character's love interests, and the fact that if you get certain characters together, they have banter about how they think Alistair is gay.  XD  Oh gods.  I love it.

I think the kiss is different from the "why are we still here?" kiss, but I need to play through both again to be sure. . . But not tonight!

I think it only works if it's your first time bedding him... it may require nuetral or warm at the highest... I know my character was still nuetral with him when this all happened.  Yeah... in retrospect it looks sooooo bad... Dristen running off to Zev for sex because Morrigan wasn't haveing any with him.  It looks like I was useing him, but that TOTALY was not how Dristen saw it at the time.  XD  Because I aparently RP a horny young man denied way too well.  But I think the utter awkwardness and fail of Dristen't atempts made up for the circumstances.  XD

I know that the 'to talk' option goes away once you bed him, because it was basicaly an early out for anyone who acsidentaly invites him to the tent without realising what that meant... you can avoid even having the awkward 'are we talking about the same thing' convo if you are one of those strange people who doesn't want to have sex with Zevran and is even disturbed by the idea.  XD

It's just when I tried to reinvite, it started the dialog, then just ended it completely. No kiss, no sex scene (which I should get since I use dialog tweaks).

To get him into bed, you can't be warm or neutral -- you have to be in a romance. Which I really like.

Edit: I do think it's a mod conflict.  I use a few of them.  I'll have to try turning them off and trying again! Because I like seeing new Zevran scenes!

Yeah... he doesn't like it if you get short with him.  Makes it quite clear that he will only be toyed with on his terms.  XD  I still don't remembe what that option was that got the positive points and made him all amused at me. 

There's a 'why are we still here? ' Kiss?  what's the scenario for that one.

I know race efects how he handles the kiss, though.

one of my favorite dialogue choises for the "join me in your tent" talk (other than the massage one thats my favorite period) is the one where your like "oh I forgot your an assassin" and hes like "well it would be an most opportune moment" and goes on to lay out a set of "rules of engagement"

No, in order to get the tent, you need to be at at least interested, care, or adore.  It can still be fairly low, mind you, but the romance has to have started.

Edit: You don't have to be romancing him to do the 3 or 4 way in the Pearl (despite the rumors -- I've done the 4-way with him at warm).

It is. I disabled DT and it works.  Now DT is back on because I can't live without the Zevran makeout scenes.  We just picked up Wynne and I need SOME consolation!

No, I don't use better sex (I like the vanilla sex scenes better).  But disabling DT solved the problem.  Reenabling it fixed the other problems not having it creates!

Righto, .93a here too, so I suppose it's a new bug, d'oh.   Taking DT out fixed it for me too.

As for the dialogue itself -- how cute!  Zevran + male elf PC does get that rather in-charge sort of kiss XD  The male human PC doesn't.. too bad.
