The ToS does say its against the rules to:
- Transmit or facilitate distribution of Content that is harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, or in a reasonable person's view, objectionable.

In the site rules it says:
No Topics of an illicit or illegal nature. ...pornography.....
are not welcome here and will be removed without warning. Posters of such material will be dealt with on a case by case basis. A person or persons found to discuss such matters may be banned from these forums at the discretion of the staff.

It only takes one person who doesn't like the pics, or who doesn't like the Zev thread, to cause a whole lot of trouble. Up to you whether you want to risk being banned or not but its probably a good idea to think carefully about whether you REALLY want to risk it.

Someone must have lurked here to report CZ (for an image that wasn't even remotely explicit) & none of us have any idea if that person is still watching. (Call me paranoid, but this is why I don't contribute any Friday pics).

The problem with CZ's wasn't that it was inappropriate or explicit, it was a copyright thing so far as I recall. A mod outright said it wasn't an inappropriate picture for the forum.

Edit: Also, not pornography. The artsy ones are artsy and pretty, and the others have had Zevheads put in amusing places. Not precisely ****** material, even if it is still eyecandy.

And I don't see any of us building a Zevran love-doll, at any rate.

See the problem with ToS is that it's quite vague. And I had the same paranoia moment as Elps. That's all.

Threads have been closed down for less. The Tali thread over on the ME part of the forums recently suffered a crackdown for being off topic. The mods reestablished it and moved all the character threads to their own section, but still. I wouldn't stick my neck out quite so boldly, because while you may not find these pics objectionable, I can definitely see how other people would do. I don't mind them; even if I do find them to be a bit much, to each their own. But a complaint is all it takes.

I do. Apart from all the images eating my bandwidth (which is charged for by the MB for me) when all I come to the thread for is Zevran and mod discussion, there's no way of knowing what images are going to suddenly appear. Because we are at all different time zones its also impossible to know what days/hours to stay away as well.

I personally don't like either men or women being objectified and am capable of hunting out my own p0rn if I was that way inclined but, as a rape victim, some of these images hit really, REALLY freaking hard.

I realize I am just one person voicing a personal opinion, but I like being able to interact with people on this forum, and to discuss and get ideas for mods focusing on Zevran. I get resentful of being chased away every week when a handful of people decide to go off-topic and turn this into a p0rnfest. I mean, what's so hard about just linking to it with a NSFW warning? Impose your idea of fun on the rest of the readers of this thread by all means, but please don't assume its harmless fun.
