I recently learned a friend of mine was seriously pissed at me for months (I was totally oblivious to the whole thing -- when she finally blew up at me, I had to think for awhile because the conversation made no impression on me at all). So if two good friends can miscommunicate that badly in person (hahahaha, I asked her if she was f*cking nuts because she was considering going out with a guy who was acting like a stalker and she apparently took major offense at this), take people on a forum and multiply that by 10.  

ANYWAY! Cute puppies are cute puppies!

Bluebell pictures would be lovely.

@ Sami Jo, I'm not normally particularly girly.  I just have a thing about that vintage lingerie - always have had.   I do manage to get tied up in it at times.  8 strap suspenders with a 4 strap girdle can get complicated - especially the back ones.  Sometimes I go 'ping!' when I sit down.  But when I'm not dressing up, I just wear normal trousers and t-shirts and stuff.

Oh, so very, very true. 

I know I don't pick up on things sometimes - whether it's me causing offence or somebody else.  But I think the medium makes it difficult for everybody - no tone of voice or body language.

Yes, when you meet a man for lunch, it's totally flattering if he starts calling every hour on the hour.  Especially since he was talking really crazy.

Some things just scare me!  They ended up not riding off into the sunset together.  I probably should have minded my own business, but her too much.  Really, though, by the time she let me know how much I upset her, I had forgotten the whole thing.  I was just like, wow, really, I said THAT?  When?  Was I justified?  OOOOH, yeh, I remember now!

EXACTLY!  Things that are meant as mildly chiding come off has judgmental, gentle teasing sometimes comes off as brutal.  

I was trying to be funny with my comment -- I hadn't been really following the thread and had no idea that things had turned ugly.  

Edit: Here is my dog when she was a puppy!  Excuse the messy room.  It's always trashed!
