As for the picture...I like it!

I love the texture for the hair on both of them and I really like the armor they're wearing, in particular.

Actually, can I just say that I actually find Princess funny and my b!tching wasn't about her in particular? I hate Mary Sues as much as the next person and mocking them is good in my books. Whatever, though. Call me catty, I don't mind > Meow.

It's really fine, I wasn't upset with you at all and hope it didn't come across that way when I responded to you (and I like catty, mrrrrrowwww ). Princess is as far from my canon HNF as anyone else's, so I understand that not all (read: no) characters are like her. She was originally made out of frustration at some of the Ali/CousCous stuff that exists, but I figured that instead of letting that stuff spoil the origin, it's better to make it a joke that people can laugh at and remember that the game is just for fun! I <3 Ali as much as the next person, and trust me when I say it pains me to think of inflicting Princess on him. Not enough to not do it, but there are tears deep down in my heart.

You know what I think would clear this all up? A nice frozen margarita.

It's okay, I stay clear of this thread for fear of being hit with... well... I dunno. I'd say a ****** or a whip or something but I have just as good a chance of being hit with that over at the Alistair thread D:

And Nonvita, in the grand scheme of things I'd say Princess is low on the scale of traumatizing, considering some of the stuff we do to Alistair. My secret favorite is the Alistair/Alistair scenes, but no one appreciated that as much as me

Isn't princess part of this thread? Sounds like a thing she would do, though. SCANDAL!!!111! She was wandering over to the Alistair thread without us noticing. And there I thought we would recognizing her pinky dress when she enters. Mayby we were too blinded of all the pink for a moment. Guess Princess is just too sneaky for us

Yes that's me.  Honestly I've never gotten it, but I suppose I'm one of the humorless ones.    Things are funny if you see a grain of truth in them, so since I don't get it, it's not funny to me.  And I suppose from there it's not far to getting prickly about it.

I'll be honest and say that the tendency to poke fun at Alistair and his fandom is one reason I stopped being a regular in this thread.  I was able to joke about it for a while, or poke back, but it's a bummer being a stick in the mud so I just removed myself.  I still love Zevran to bits and most of the posters here (I'm sure I'd love you all but I only know a few).  If the tables were turned, I wouldn't hang around the Alistair thread, either.  I'm as protective of Zevran as the next fangirl. 

But I'm really sorry if I contributed to bad blood or, ye gods preserve us, a thread war.  That's just dumb and I hate drama with the fire of a thousand suns.  So, hugs all around.  And there seems to be an Alicorn following on the Alistair thread, mystifying as it is to me!

I don't read fanfic either. (Sorry to the people here whose fanfics are awesome, I'm sure!)

And I hope you'll remember I was one of the few who actually defended Ali in this thread. I make fun of him because I like him, just like you guys do over there, but there's no mal-intent intended. Still, if you feel more comfortable in the Ali thread, more power to ya. Goodness knows this thread has died down in more ways than one since its heyday anyway. But we have always missed you!

I think the bad blood was VERY one sided.  I don't think anyone here got ruffled!

Actually, I have to admit this is my current wall paper.  My non-DA playing husband was curious, and I got halfway through the Princess and her pet Alicorn story before he rolled his eyes.  I was impressed he listened to that much of it!

Edit: And I agree with CZ.  We need more Princess.  Meanwhile, I'm going to borrow MorGothic's picture and post it in the AliThread.
