So the pic actually ruffled feathers? Curious, as it was done in good fun...Princess invoked the closet Barbie-loving person that I am, and I was helplessly compelled to paint by the pinkness (which is one of my favourite colours SHUT UP). I'm surprised no one at all had called out dwarf discrimination when Aeducan is described as small and portrayed as a monster, but you see what you want to see I guess
BTW, this is my M! and F! CousCous' reactions to the Princess and Alicorn shenanigans:
I'm glad that y'all like the art! Especially...Nonvita wrote...

*comes back* Muhehe, what can I say? Inpiring art is inspiring, and pretty pink princess has that very much in spadesWould the pic be more awesome if I told you I was painting it while re-watching the whole First Season of Coupling? Princess and Jeff Murdoch should get together, it'll be GLORIOUS.
Also, if drawing Alicorn subsequently results in Charsen posting these...
NSFW Alistairs ZOOM
NSFW alibation
NSFW Bronco that warden

Glad you like them then, then ^o^ 90% of the stuff I draw is way too favourable to Alistair, so it's nice to be able to make fun of him once in a while.
And if making fun of him results in delicious screenshots of Ali pr0n, then hey more motivation there :3 :3 :3
Nonvita: I love, love, loooooove Coupling to bits. Wriggling and squirming Jeff is always a delight to watch, and Steve's monologues are masterpieces --- The Inferno one is a classic <3 Also, I love the sepia photos in your gallery~! I wish I could take awesome shots, but auto digicams can only do so much ToT And Missa Dwarf-approved is always a treat <3<3<3<3<3

Watched all four seasons of it. Pity the lustre left when Jeff left, though. The new guy can't hold a candle to Jeff's gems such as "The Boyfriend Zone", "The Unflushable", "The Giggle Loop" and "The Sock Gap", among others.

That's what I always say! I pretty much love the heck out of anything poking fun at him (when it's not malicious, we do it out of love). I think we've scared many people away, a frequent comment we get is asking why we treat him so poorly if we like him so much. They just don't understand the magnificence of photoshopping his head onto drag pageant queens or editing his moph to give him Morrigan makeup or having him make out with himself

People there do freak out if something making fun of him, even though it's usually a lot tamer, occurs in other threads, though.yukidama wrote...

Yeah, thats the sad part of it. Hafta bend the rules then and use fake tags, I guess. Exceptions to the rule.
Irony in itself is a difficult thing to write, since some folks do it themselves in a way that's insurmountable.

I watched all 4 seasons, and then made my (then) bf watch all 4 seasons, again. I tolerated the new guy, just because of the show's greatness. But he had nothing on Jeff! Sometimes I'll still think of a Jeff quote and laugh all to myself. And once I did have to attend a friend of a friend's funeral, met the eyes of my bf, and nearly lost it!

Oh yessss! I first saw Jack Davenport as Norrington in Pirates of the Carribean, but was unimpressed. Saw him a bit in Mary Bryant and was a little impressed. Saw him as disgraced Norrington in Dead Man's Chest and HELLO THERE HANDSOME! I tell ya, scoundreliness does wonders.
And then I watched Steve in Coupling and was utterly in love with him. I was a bit miffed that Davenport was in the running for Eddard Stark in HBO's A Game of Thrones and didn't get it, but Sean Bean is not too shabby either...

Do you honestly expect the Zevthread to keep its hands to itself? No, we had to tease the Alithread into mild annoyance, then make out with it while it was making Alistair's angry face, apparently.

This exactly! His character getting hotter in Pirates 2 was the only thing good about that movie, but Coupling is just him on a whole other level.
(Although my boyfriend just brought up movie commentaries and it reminded me how much I love the first Pirates commentary--just Jack Davenport being adorable and Keira Knightly talking about her boobs the whole time. Ahhhh marvelous. =P)
And yes Sean Bean is pretty squeeworthy as well.

I've never gone for the foursome - it seems to complicated to plan out. My rogues go for the card game. I don't even need to do it now that I've unlocked the specialisation.
