As someone who has never read the books and thus has no emotional attachment to them whatsoever, I will say that that movie has great entertainment value.

Oh hai top of the page.

Re anyone who has a shred of optimism for DA in cartoon form, I present The Dragonlance "Movie". Cower in terror, even those who never read the books.

COWER, I SAY.

I know I am. Oh god it's so bad.

Also, gave my thoughts in the dragon_age LJ community this morning. My comment there still stands.

I had been tempted to see that... Hearing your opinion of it, however, makes me want to shoot it in the face with a hammer.

This is the correct response.

Hehe.

Oooh, nice...    I was given a copy of a friend's Raistlin fanart for my 21st birthday. It was an awesome B-day gift, because I didn't expect anything from him. He's a great artist, and I'd scan it in and post it, but I think he wouldn't appreciate it.

Probably better not to. The DL fandom is notorious for stealing art. :/

Still, yay Raistlin fanart! I had a TAF reader email me a full-resolution scan of one they did of Raist years back that was just ridiculously awesome. Up there with the very top of my favorites.

Yeah... It's really good, and wouldn't mind seeing the actual drawing, but I'm perfectly happy with the scanned and printed-out-on-picture-paper copy.

Oooh, sweet.

Agreed.  The Dragonlance movie is moderately entertaining for my 8 year old but is a serious insult to any real Dragonlance fans.   The original animated "Lord of the Rings" movies weren't too bad though - even though they were never finished, there were definitely some LOL moments in them that were probably not intended.

Happy nightmares.

Here's another abomination.

Edit: Oh, there's an English dubbed version, too. The perfect lulzaby (LOL, Word of the Day) would be in Japanese with English subtitles.

This movie was difficult to get through even with MST.

MST would not have been able to save this movie.

Hell, Will Smith couldn't save it.

Sharing the muse gone mad...

I'm felting finger-puppets of the DA characters and some of the original Wardens.  (trapping me in the house leads to some very odd aftereffects:P)

So, WIP of roughed out (posable!) Archdemon.  Almost no detailing is done at this point.

And now I'm off to finish roughing out the rest of the party.

Ok, here's the deal. Anyone/Everyone can copy and edit this list. Keep it snowballing.

Only rule: if the Zevthread in any way inspired the creation or continuation of a Zev-themed project, add it. (Mods made for Zevran but not inspired by this thread shouldn't be added, those go on Sresla's big list of Zev mods etc though!). =P

Can be... groups, mods, threads, fanfics, fanarts, blogs, whatever...this is what we will paste to the haters

Then when we're all good and happy let's stick it up on Sresla's group page and bring it out like crispy old photos of semi-naked grandchildren for Thanksgiving.

Links if ya got em.

Glad you folks are enjoying.  Seriously though, needle felting is the easiest thing ever.  All you do is roll up a ball of roving in roughly the correct shape and stab it repeatedly with a felting needle until it looks right.  The hardest part is not stabbing yourself.  (It's quite cathartic :P

I would say that in and of itself makes you far more gifted than most of us here. :wizard:

Yeah, just wanted to make sure, which movie you were referring to since you spoke of Will Smith.

Haven't seen either. Vincent Price is usually priceless, though.

I've just been watching Theatre of Blood, which is my favourite Vincent Price.  I don't know why it doesn't have a much higher score on IMDB.  It's one of those films you either love or love.  (Could anybody not love this film?)

A felt archdemon - you are amazing, Sami Jo.  I can't get Cadryn to display, apart from the photo of starting his clothes.  I'll check back later.

So what exactly do you have to do to qualify for the list?
