There's a merchant (well, a couple but they share the same inventory) in Rivet City.  There's one in Paradise Falls.  There's one in the Family.  There's the caravan if you can find the weapon guy in them.  And there's Moira.  Sometimes the various scavengers have ammo.  Hmmmmmm, that's all I can think of off hand.

Edit: Ooooh, there's also one in Tenpenny Tower and the Underworld.  I hope I haven't spoiled too much for you

Though I never really have played Aedan, I do have this.  I think Zevran looks the most vulnerable with the human male.

Alistair is and will always be a far sexier character than Zevran. I just felt that he was a stereotype honestly >.> I did not like Zevran at all. However, I will admit he made me chuckle and I did enjoy him outside of the romantic encroachments he did take.

Eh, you have to get past the sleaze to realize it's a front--he really does have a delightfully dirty sense of humor, but he's playing it up for the companions.  Even then, he's not everyone's cup of tea.

Shotgun shells -- they're expensive, and merchants will have them, but that's always hit and miss.  There's the scrounger perk which IMO is essential (I think that's the one where you find more ammo).

There is a guy who sells ammo up in Tempeny Tower, if you want a static merchant that is. There are also the caravan merchants, namely Lucky Harith.

Btw. I would suggest to not do the wasteland survival quest, you get a nice Perk if you convince Moira it's a waste of time, increase her repair skill AND get a discount at her shop ( she becomes the third most highest repair vendor in game, and since the other two either disappear after you do a quest with them or is a traveling merchant, then it REALLY helps ). fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Dream_Crusher

I also just finished playing Fallout 3....Don't have any screens at the purifier, so I should I say I used the FEV from Eden, convinced him to blow himself up, let the Colonel go and lastly blew up Megaton.

It is annoying in Broken Steel I lost Jericho and Charon when I used the nukes on the enclave base. ( There is a way to get more then one follower + dogmeat. I can share if you like ). Nothing quite like watching them take on the Enclave one on one at the purifier and/or Adams Air Force Base.

P.S. Like how you made your guy look, he looks nice compared to mine...I Just fail at this.

Fail? I have a few. I like Jericho and Charon a lot. Those guys are badass with their assault rifle and shotgun respectively. Paladin Cross is ok....though she only uses a laser pistol. Butch is meh. I like his character but you need to provide him with a weapon or he uses a lousy pistol ( not that it was a problem, seeing that by that point I had a Plasma Pistol and 2000 Energy Cells )

Of course Fawkes is pure win. Gattling Laser?! Hell yeah.

The only one I don't like is Clover....the idea of a woman who readily willing to be a sex slave, doesn't hold any appeal to me......

It's still in progress. I haven't even touched Zev's hair, either of their hands, or the lighter grey bits on either of their clothing/armor... or drawn the hook and rope the chain is on, lol oops.

Edit: Also haven't shaded Zev's tats, and I may shade Tannu's hair... and a few other little things to do. Though I'm pleased to show the difference in blond between the two of them; Zev's is more warm gold compared to Tannu's platinum.

And... holy crap guys, this one picture of mine actually reduces well!

You left out the words, "In my opinion."  I find Zevran far sexier than Alistair. But I also just basically like the Zevran romance better than the Alistair one.

Zevran, if you get to know him, especially romantically, you find there is so much more beneath the surface.  He is so proud of being with the warden as you can tell by various banters he has with the companions (rather than getting embarrassed and flustered like Alistair does).

Both romances appear to be stereotypes on the surface.  Alistair's is your classic white knight, until, of course, things change.  Zevran is the sex crazed, shallow bisexual elf, except, of course, he really isn't.  As I have said before, both romances start in different places and finish up in other, completely unexpected places.  The romance you think will end up in a wonderful proposal ends up with the character, after he falls in love, telling the warden he doesn't know where things are going.  The romance you think is sexual in nature, after he falls in love, is the one who can't stay with the warden without a commitment and a promise for the future (and yes, possibly a proposal).

The one who you think will be faithful forever in most cases (not all) ends up having to separate sex and love to stay with the warden or puts duty ahead of love and breaks up with her.  The one you think will never be tied down ends up with sex and love so tied together in his mind that he can't even have sex with the warden until things are clear between them.

Both romances are great.  Both characters have far more going on than first appears.  Not everyone likes Zevran's romance, but wow, it's an amazing ride if you give it a chance.  You may still prefer Alistair's, and that's fine.  But you sell some absolutely incredible writing short right now!

One really big difference between the romances, the way I see it, is that Zevran supports the warden, whereas the warden supports Alistair.  That's not a criticism of either of them.  I think that often in relationships, there is a slight imbalance that way, and it's good if the people concerned are happy with their 'role'.   With Alistair I was always going to feel that my character was helping shore him up, maybe even mother him and try to guide him a little.  I didn't feel that with Zevran - I felt that he was looking out for and supporting my character. 

Maybe I prefer to be the supportee rather than the supporter in real life, and that makes me biased towards Zevran. (And maybe 'support' isn't the best word.  I hope you know what I mean).

I have a question, if I may. Everything (ficwise) I read about Zev, he has amber eyes. Yet the game throws light brown on him. Where did the amber come from? It's become so canon to me I actually started playing with him in the toolset. But I am curious. My Zev, mostly unchanged except eye color, and a teeny smidge less squint. I kept his smile wrinkles around the eyes, and everywhere else though i blended them down a tiny bit. Maybe it was just the lighting in my game but the boy didn't need to look like Wynne's skin. Had to leave those lips alone though. That lower lip just invites nibbling.

okay all, I have a non-zev question for the thread here....

I am home sick today and will be FINALLY finishing up my HNF....



I will be starting out some other characters after this to finish going through all the origins.....

I am still running the 1.02 whatever patch (1.03 totally f'd up my game, so I'll wait for 1.04 to come out before patching)

I had seen that there was some talk about someone working on combining mods, did that ever happen?

What mods do you all suggest? I'm thinking of removing the mods I have right now and reinstalling updated/different/new mods....



Which ones have you really liked?

When I change my copy of his head to the "lbr" (light brown) it loses the orange-yellow hue, so there's definitely a difference in the two color files. :3

28 hours, 00 minutes

Almost done. I'm guessing about 30 hours give or take an hour or so. Though I still haven't drawn that damn rope. It's like the one elbowpad on Angry!Zev that I didn't draw in until like the last hour of pre-blood work, lol. After this is done I can go back to work on Doc Zev Holliday, which is probably about half done.

I've just been more inspired lately to work on this one for some strange reason. I don't know why. Hint, the answer is kmeme.

@Jaulen There is no community mod, and every time I try to talk about Qwinn's mod, I go into a rant (he used my bugfix list, initially without my permission -- the only reason I found out about it was someone directed me to a thread where he said he was using my bugfix list to make his own instead of contacting me). I will just say he does fix a lot, but he misses a lot as well, and it's not the best mod to use if romancing Zevran or Leliana. He misses a ton of Zevran bugs (like, well, everything in zevran_main), and if you want to use Dialog Tweaks, you get none of his fixes anyway. Though he did make some (lore-changing) changes to party_ran_banter and one or two that may have made sense (not sure), he missed the obvious bugs, so at the very least, I recommend using my party_banter_fix_5. I also recommend Charsen's GateKiss. I recommend using my Zevran_Main_Fix -- there are four versions depending on what other mods you use. I fix things that both ZevRing and Dialog Tweaks don't, but there are versions compatible with both as they both do add things that I don't. If using Dialog Tweaks, I recommend using my Leliana fixes as well.

If you do use ZDF with 1.02, there is a file you have to delete. Anyway, it's hard to say what you should use without knowing what you currently use and what you want.

Well silly me, added the mod I mentioned AFTER I changed the eye color. But your post madeb me go back in and try it with the one they gave him. And look at that...actual amber.



Now I'm happy. Also with said mod my PC's eyes lok holy crap amazing, and Alistair's really look Hazel. *bounces with glee* Thanks for your input:)
