I don't want this to sound like I'm trying to imply the second offer is "superior" or that's the right choice, but that's the only time it's stated for what it is--and thus the only time such an overt gesture as a wedding would be appropriate, I think.
I agree. Either way, though, his declaration is so amazing
Hmmmmm, though, I wonder when it would be good for a Gray Warden Alistair to get married.

See I ballsed up the conversation on Missa in game. DDW the fic is obviously not a canon playthrough.
What I don't like about it is the timing. Missa will have gameface on because: 1) she got beat up and shoved in jail 2) LOL LAND'S MEET. She's not going to be have her guard down long enough to give him the proper time of day. I've written one scene and she sounds a right c*ck in it because sheit boils down to FFS ZEV, HERE, NOW? WRY.
fffffffff- sorry, bringing up the infamous earring conversation again, the owls are displeased with me:

SORRY DISPLEASING OWLS I WILL TRY HARDER

I think my brosca might leave her at the tower. I mean she has enough to deal ith. Alistair is still sulking, Leliana is...creeping her out with all the maker stuff, Sten is all "you're a woman. you cannot fight", the only sane ones to her are Morrigan and Zev. The last thing she needs is "Mother May I Never Shut Up" tagging along

Somewhat Ironic that all my playthroughs so far have finished with her at friendly.....bleh, I hate myself.
Anyway, more Witcher screens, cause Geralt is awesome like that.

Well....I can't think of proper words...but think of it like fighting melee battles in Fallout 3 from a third person perspective, with some close combat magic involved.

I'm downloading it now. Found it on Steam...which lead to finding omgVelvet Assassin and both Assassin's Creed games. Curse you people.

It's sort of a point-and-click with rhythm game involved if you level up your melee skills. Clicking mouse again when the previous move is about done animating initiates another move in a combo, and so on. You can also train some magic skills which are fired with right mouse button and if you level these high it kind of takes away any challenge the game could have in the first place, much like with DA.ejoslin wrote...

They are changing the combat somewhat for the Witcher 2 because the first game was a hit-and-miss thing with the players. Some liked it but quite a few complained it's boring. Best to check for yourself, though.

Oh and btw, if you are getting the witcher, I recommend a HD texture mod.
The Witcher: Texturen Mod.

From the interviews i read recently they aren't yet sure themselves how they're going to change it. The click-to-combo system is likely being removed but beyond that it's something they're going to play-test in the next few months or something to this effect.Costin_Razvan wrote...
How are they changing it? Certainly I did not like the idea of the 3 combo click and hit that only changed animation as you leveled it up, but I DID like the idea of sword styles.

Doesn't he say 'strong hands' for a male Warden?Sooo Morrigan tells Zev how wiley he is, cozying up to the warden so they can protect him from the crows. And I about dropped my daggers when I heard "We both have our reasons to do what we do. Mine just comes with a set of lovely eyes"

It's pretty awesome he says lovely eyes, and maybe a little telling too. I mean with Zev, you'd almost expect a lovely set of legs, or a leering before he says eyes, but there's no sign that it's a euphamism. Whereas Alistair gets caught looking at your butt...lol
