Oh, thank the Maker I'm not the only one who had that thought.

Edit: wut.

God, I want to hump Kaioku's face so hard for illustrating that scene.

I...never thought of that...though in that case, SHE has some serious issues not only with anatomy but location:blink:

See, this is why I can never preserve the Anvil as a CE... or any Elf come to think about it. I only preserved it on my dwarf playthroughs, since I (almost) never play humans...

RE: the Morrigan romance - I had the *exact* same trouble when I first tried it. Just had no idea how it worked. Honestly though, I think it actually works a lot better if you get her all the way to friendship and then romance her - you can trigger it during the 'Tis a curious thing' dialogue in (IMO) a far more touching way than any of her initial triggers.

Hahahaha, I love that part. What's awesome is if you haven't finished her book (or talked her out of completing it), if she makes it to the underworld, you can finish it there.

Thank GOD I am finally done with this friggin HNF....although I did like some of Alistair's lines at the end referencing the upcoming wedding and whatnot....And it was sad having Zevran at Friend and seeing no ending card for what happened to him. Oh well!

now for a total Alistair hate play through. Mage or Dalish? (Haven't done Mage yet, but unsure of how I would like to take that track....)

What are ways to get the other companions in dislike/hate mode?

She bugged out for me....I could still repair at her but she didn't initiate the dialogue about Megaton blowing up, so she stayed there near the crater for most of the game ( not bad mind you, but I couldn't sell stuff to her, and since she had a lot of caps that option would have been welcome ).

Until I chopped her to tiny little bit with my auto axe and claimed by over 12.000 caps from her dead corpse and used cheats to teleport to Lucky Harith whenever I needed repair.

Oh and can you actually slaughter everyone in Little Lamplight? I sure as hell wanted to.

My Alistair hate playthrough was going to be my DE. The only problem with going that route is that Alistair's the only one who says anything (and is nice) after Tamlen comes back, so that can dampen the hate a little. :P

A mage hate playthrough could work nicely, especially if you play as an evil mage (blood mage maybe?).

As for the other companions, Zevran is easy to lose approval with if you start up the romance immediately and then are really mean to him. You'll get his mean breakup speech as well. If you take him with you, the things he dislikes are slaughtering the Dalish, killing the mages, and giving the Alienage elves over to the slavers.

Wynne you'll want to actually take around with you--do "evil" things and make sure to tell her to shut up when she speaks up.

For Shale just side with Branka and kill Caradin and you can lose a ton of approval.

I'll leave the rest for someone else if they want to go through them. :pinched:

Morrigan is easy to lose approval with, but she's the opposite of Wynne. You just need to take her along when you do good things, and she'll make sure to heartily disapprove. Sten is similar.

So basically, if you're playing a good character, the characters you can get to dislike you more easily would be Morrigan, Sten, and, to a lesser extent, Shale. If you're playing an evil character, Wynne, Alistair, Leliana and, to a lesser extent, Zevran will be more likely to be at odds with you. I don't really know about Oghren, because he was the last character I got on my first playthrough. The Wiki says he can go both ways and generally approves of bravery. But I guess if you're an evil character who keeps insulting him, that would be an easy way to get on his bad side. Then again, insulting any character will work just fine.

You don't go around dealing wanton destruction in a post apocalyptic landscape in real life?

I disagree.
My characters are never evil, although they tend to hate Leliana and Wynne.
And Alistair feel indifference.

I heartily agree, to a point though. I won't slaughter people I actually like in a game ( Loghain, Zevran, Bhelen, Elder Lyons, Charon,, Burke, Tempeny etc ) but others? Hell yeah!

I can't kill children no matter how annoying they or their parents may be.

And I just finished Chapter Thirteen! And Zevran still has lines! Posted Image

I have to admit, even though I've done a couple of evil FO3 play throughs, I have not done the slavers quests.  I balked at the people I was supposed to mez and put the collars on because *groan* I liked them.  However, I do want to do at least one time evil all the way, including siding with the slavers all the way.

In FO3, when I sided with the ghouls, I wanted to punt kittens.  I swear, I was SO pissed and felt like the biggest tool in the world.  I have no issues turning in the android, however.  He's just a machine.  And that perk is SO good.

In DAO, I don't think I could kill Zevran.  There's this little part of mine that really has been touched by the character, and even though I know on a rational level that he is just pixels, it would make me feel bad!  Though thinking about it, I did kill him once and reload.

Alistair, I really don't have a problem letting him die -- either by execution or by the AD.  But the first time I played, yeh, I cried when he dumped my character and I cried when he killed himself.  So maybe that's why I'm meh now -- I got over him!

*sigh* Ok, I AM warped!

Edit: Nuking Megaton, however, is awesome.  I try to be high enough level where I can kill them all and steal their stuff.
