The child of a Grey Warden is a normal child. There's the theory that Alistair is the child of a Grey Warden mage.

Posted Image Isn't he the child of a sculliery maid...?

Also, that's not really an argument for the child of a Grey Warden being normal, since Alistair ends up becoming a Grey Warden too...

DGaider has said the taint does not cross the placenta.  Children of Grey Wardens are born without the taint.  And Alistair became a Grey Warden just like the PC did, he drank some blood, choked on it and passed out. Morrigan's ritual is the special case since it is magic, not a normal conception.  If it weren't magic, and if the PC were pregnant (if she was romancing Zevran) or Leliana also potential to be pregnant (romancing a male PC) would run the risk of the same thing happening to their baby.

I just got through that the last time I played too. (last sunday) My gal is totally good though...she's wearing the winterized version I got in the goody vault afterwords.  I play on PS3 so no screenshots for me.

I don't think so. Without the ritual the Grey Warden who kills the Archdemon dies. Being pregnant is not enough to do the trick.

Ah ok, fair enough, I wasn't aware of the storyline in The Calling. Wasn't aware of Gaider's post either, so thanks for clearing that up.

So if the taint isn't hereditary if a Grey Warden conceives naturally, does that mean that Morrigan's ritual somehow forces the child to be exposed to it? Because otherwise, there wouldn't be a difference between a Grey Warden's child and a normal child, and the Archdemon would have no reason to prefer the child as a vessel. And Morrigan wouldn't even need a Grey Warden to perform the ritual.

The Enclave one is a FAR better then the Brotherhood one in looking badass at least ( and the Hellfire Armor is the best in the game ).

A few Witcher Screenshots, not much but it's from a DLC rather then they main game.

Unlike Bioware, Cd Projekt allows people to create their own DLC adventures, which are then posted on the main site and some even included in the Enhanced Edition.

Oh one great thing about the Witcher is how your choices have a very deep impact on the game. For example there is a werewolf in the game and you have a few choices: Either kill him, or let him help you. If you do agree to let him help, then you are presented with another choice: Let the werewolf remain as he is, or cure the curse.

To cure to the curse...there is only one way: Love. As cliche as that sounds, it's actually very emotional to have the guy confess his feelings towards the woman he does love.

It all ends with this ( skip to 6.07 ) and all this is SIDE quest.

Exactly.  Morrigan's ritual makes the difference in that situation (Otherwise the other two scenarios I posted would be a potential possibility, which of course they aren't).  I don't know all the mechanics but I assume she works her apostate mojo on the Warden and takes what she needs in addition to the baby making stuff and at the moment of kill, voila...OGB

WIP#1 for the dwarf noble wedding. Keep in mind seriously this is just the foundation of the scene though i plan to have more after this point too.

most of the NPCs will move position, still need to add some more folks, and still need animations on everyone. chairs and nugs look purple due to the way the toolset renders area objects. hopefully i will be able to post another update today =)

Roast Nug!  Gah, Charsen, you have great attention to detail.  And I absolutely love this.

Wow, Leliana with an old god baby... That really is a very amazing thought. Even moreso than my warden pregnant with an old god baby.

Edit: It's a good thing that scenario isn't possible!

Right, if only these silly BioWare people were smart enough to release the Toolset for content creation and offered page for 3rd party projects on their website.

But noooo~

Ahh fair point then. If i remember right they said for these other titles (ME at least) the development tools aren't as friendly/whole process is even more complicated. Plus i'd guess there can be some licensing issues that'd prevent public release of the tools they're using in the house.

however, it would be great if they could release the awakening and/or DLC stuff with the toolset (but i am not sure how they could still control non-paid access if they did that, but that's another topic)

Good morning Zevranites.  I know some of you read fanfiction.  I've been writing a bit of it lately, and though Alistair is the romantic lead in the stories I've written, Zevran gets some play in my latest and I really enjoyed writing for him.  I can't link to ffnet from work because the filter objects, but scroll down here to find the link.

You know, if you're bored and stuff.  Posted Image

In a similar vein...

"Ha! Let's see... When was the last time I slipped my hand into some dark hole? Hmmm... Long story, that."
==>
Long Story, That

Edit: Uh... kinda SFW?  On one level of reading, it's "The Princess and the Frog."  On another, it's... not.

As awesome as the idea of having a werewolf at your back might be, I find it much more effective on higher difficulties to have him in human form + city guards to bear all the damage.

With regard to the Dark Ritual, David Gaider confirmed (part 1, part 2) that the cutscene was originally supposed to show the magical elements of it, but that part of the scene was cut because it was too long. Only the part with the intercourse remained.

With that in mind, I doubt simple conception with a Grey Warden involved is enough to save the Warden's life and create the god-baby. It appears that Morrigan's magic has to be involved for it to work.

Just a note for Charsen (and well, everyone else who may find that useful) -- BioWare guys released source files for the .fdp (sound/music) files for the standard game campaign, which might be of some use when working the music into that wedding mod and whatnot.

The relevant thread is here: http://social.biowar...8/index/2842442
and the files are at: http://social.biowar...ect/1331/#files

Ha ha ha, loved the line:
""We've been over this before, Alistair: we were never involved.""

Since Alistair dumped one of my elves after the landsmeet and she had never romanced him. ....

Can totally imagine a deep sigh and rolled eyes.

A new chapter of Warden of River Dane is up!

Carving a path

It's not a Zevran centric story, but it does feature him heavily.

lol, had that with my CE too. Had arrangement with Anora but out of curiosity checked the alternative path first so made him king and the next thing i know i was getting the breakup speech although i don't think the relationship with him ever moved past the "interested" and some 30-odd rating. Was a Posted Image moment.

Boys. You ask them about their bed experiences and they get all sorts of weird ideas in their heads. Posted Image

Well my Dalish spazzed on him (not like that) she was just being nice and Alistair got in her face for going with Zevran. Anyone have a link to what starts every LI romance. Alistair seems to think any female who talks to him in any nice way wants him.

Well sometimes if the approval rises too fast do to gifts it can happen. Off the top of my head there's the lamppost conversation, telling him he's handsome, telling him you do care about him and not just for his blood, telling him your home is with him, telling him he's special to you...there's a lot.
