Yeash for some reason I gave Zevran a chance and now I like his romance over Alistair's one far better. Though for some reason I have trouble making a softer face for my femelves. Their eyes are always so angry. What I want in a sequel is the ability to play with lighting and move your PC around to see it from very different angles, like in Spore.

Ah, with Alistair, it's a bit more subtle than Zevran. He has a lot of romance starting lines, even in REALLY inappropriate places (like setting up the marriage between him and Anora). Heh, one of the funniest moments in the game was learning that.

Alistair: WHY would I want to be king?
Warden: Men in power are sexy!
Alistair: OOOOOOH! Are you saying I'm sexy?
Warden: Yeh. Now what about marrying Anora?
Alistair: WAIT! What about us?
Warden: There is no us!

Edit: Actually, lamppost conversation is safe, just when he calls you beautiful, don't get all, "ooooh, you think I"m beautiful?" Really, the best way to not turn on the romance is to just not flirt at all, and when he flirts, get him back on track.  Like this:

Warden: Just try that line on me!
Alistair: I have other lines to use on you!
Warden: RIIIIIIGHT!  Let's get back on subject here.

instead of
Warden: Why don't you try them some time?

I guess I have done the romance enough times that I can spot the starter lines.  Even when I raise his approval with gifts, I never end up in a romance with him.

Zevran's romance is definitely grittier than Alistair's, but I think in many ways it's sweeter as well, because it's more based on reality.  Alistair's has the sweeter words, but he also doesn't look to the future.  He enjoys first love, and it is a real love, but it's not until after he really falls in love that the implications hit him.  Zevran, though he fights it the entire time, has eyes wide open.  Love is the last thing he wants or expects, but once he falls in love, he knows exactly what he wants.  He just needs to be able to sort it out.

I think I got a pretty decent looking femelf, just started another dalish for an Ali hate game.....and not going to soften up on him after Tamlen this time.....Server is slow on uploading.



But at least I was able to figure out how to edit the changemorph file so I could combine all the different mods......I know I know, pretty basic low level tech, but I was kinda psyched it worked and I didn't wonk the game



Now to be brave enough to play a blue/green or pink character......hmmm, maybe my parents were dye merchants and I fell into a vat of indigo or something.....



Is there a reason you can't see eye color changes in the in-game character creator?

This happens when your graphics quality is set too low.  Go into Options, and raise the slider until you can see the eye color in character creation.  You can turn the slider back down before you play the actual game.

Good to know, I had turned down my video quality while playing on the airplane (so I didn't use up mt battery as fast) but hadn't turned it back up yet.

So...more Witcher pics...Man this game just sucks you right in, and playing it on hardest difficulty is like throwing yourself against a metal stake. ( though I like the challenge )

Two farmers watching a mill they think is haunted by the screams they hear in the distance, when in fact Geralt is only having some sweet time.

Oh and of course Geralt protects damsels in distress ( only after getting laid of course ).

Also, bi-curious Alistair kind of snuck into my head a little, because I get mostly the same convos on my guys, too... I just don't get the really flirty options. So don't read it if the idea of Alistair realizing that he might want to lick other men's lampposts too makes you cry. I will cheerfully mock any QQing!

There's actually all sorts of sub-kinks for different kinds of contraptions, lol. And there's an entire one specifically around chastity devices, although their use is generally more... long-term than the shenanigans I wrote up. The stuff I wrote was totally softcore for that subculture, lol.

I really do research the weirdest things sometimes.

I'll probably sound unhinged asking for plot, but... given that the events of "Blood Enthrallment" are apparently classic Blood Mage behavior, that Alistair's got ~10 years of templar training, and what he just saw... I'd think he'd have some serious questions (over and above 'why do my pants feel funny').

I'm aware of the chastity device subculture, and then there's the machines for ... you know, which also have quite a big following, but I was also wondering if there was a kink just for contraptions per se, if you know what I mean.   Because if there is, I think I might have it, that would be interesting.  I actually asked for a contraption in one of my kmeme prompts.   Anyway, your chastity device seemed a bit more devious and involved than the usual perspex cage type thingies, and you've got me thinking about a sex shop full of amazing W Heath Robinsonesque contraptions.

WIP #2 for Dwarf Noble wedding, still needs some touch-ups but this is nearly done. i'll probably start the Dalish today.
