Wow, those really are crappy options, I'm surprised. And I must say, Cuddlezarro, that the mod you're using on Leliana kinda makes her look like a ****... It may not be helping your opinion of her.

Oh man I am so glad when I checked today, her meter was not on romance
setting.  I don't want to deal with this, though at least since my
Dalish is bi it wouldn't be AS dishonest... but I want an arogent answer
option or a blunt option or something...  Trying to reason with Lel is
even worse than with Wynne!!  I don't even have the option to be mean to
her from what I've seen in her personal dialogues, or to call her out
on certain things... I mean, really... You go through Zev with these
amazingly varied reactions you can choose for his very intence dialogues
with such rich subtext...

Leliena has 2 ZOMG U SLEPT WITH ZEVRAN TALKS

the one I posted is the first one... the second you you get if she some how hits if you have high approval (which is hilariously easy to get even if you arnt romancing her) and she just out right explodes on you... knowing my luck I will get that conversation as well since I TURNED OFF the romance using the freaking cheat console when I first saw that it was turned on...

I have finished that part of the game, unfortunately.
Can you dump her during her personal quest? I have not 'unlocked' it yet, though I'm not sure if I want to do it. I'm a little afraid to talk to her. Everytime I talk to her she falls in love with my mage (it's magic~).

I had one conversation (maybe the hair one? we haven't had shoes yet) where at one point I get the option of saying "not interested" and she backpedals and says, oh yeah we're just friends, totally, or something like that . So far, she's still at warm. But I dont take her anywhere with me and I will NOT give her shoes. if we ever do get the shoe talk, I'm gonna go down the "shoes should be confortable" route and hopefully that will keep her from romancing me. I do like her song and some of her comments can be good.



I think the way I need to look at her in my next playthrough is that I don't trust her even from the beginning and see all her saccharine comments as a front---and then when Zev comes and she instantly knows who the Crows are, well, that just confirms my suspicions. So I do the bard/mistrel talk and everything else just reconfirms that she is slippery and never genuine. She'll fight because I keep everyone around who can fight darkspawn, but I will never trust her. Morrigan, on the other hand, is ****y in her comments but seems genuinely touched by female friendship (she treats the guys she is in love with badly tho).

So, CE rogue (I love them) update--Zev is at warm, Alistair is at care and just told me he "cares" for me. I let him go with it after doing the one where you get a -73 ! yikes . So once I bed alistair I'm gonna dump him I think---I'm seriously attracted but the heir to the throne is bothering this elf. I even brought up my elfness and he didn't acknoweldge it.. I guess I'll break it off later as I worry more. Time for lunch

Well, of course it isn't!  LOL, I actually have begun to enjoy the ninja love.  I like it when Zevran makes my character choose even though he becomes confused about leliana's gender

now Alistairs ninja love landsmeet breakup (male version) is absolutely hilarious but that doesnt happen every game with Leliena I can just be outright rude to her and she still falls for me >_<

But she told Zevran they were sooooo busy praying!  She didn't miss it at all! ...

I feel like my CE dodged a bullet (but then, he got ninja-loved by Morrigan, which was rough oO;; ), but he's never done Leli's personal quest.  I wonder if that will change things. :|

Well, it was the elf's own fault, I think. He'd never flirted with her, and was at 100 Adore with Zevran, but when he gave her the mirror, he decided to be courtly and say it was a gift for a beautiful woman. Come on, that doesn't have to be flirty! XD (Besides, wouldn't Morrigan kinda look down on that sort of flattery?) But I think that did it. Sigh.



Zevran is so easy to work with in comparison. ;D

Re. Leliana: I'm having to enforce a no Zevran-bashing rule in my gaming household because my husband won't forgive Zevran for hitting on his male PCs, even if you do get to turn it off right away. Of course, the mage robes in the game sort of set you up for boob-staring. Isn't Ferelden supposed to be *cold*?!

My boyfriend bedded Zevran with his male character, kind of as a joke at first, and then was genuinely bummed when Leliana made him choose between them.  I can tell when he really likes a character, because normally he picks his party at random, but Zev and Lel are almost always with him now.

Back when we were talking about Zevran and whether he was devout, Addai67 (I believe) pointed out that in the Redcliff chantry, if you ask for the revered mother's blessing, Zevran makes a prayer gesture (most likely Antivan as it's different than the ones done in Ferelden). Since then, I've noticed he occasionally makes that gesture at the campfire as well.



Ugh, I have nothing to contribute on that entire subject, but I thought it was interesting. I've just never paid much attention to the various campfire gestures of any of the party members.

You're right, he does, when Sgt. Kylon is talking about how he gets sent the bastards of noblemen.   Now I wish I knew more about the whole subject.  Is it a gesture of thanks?

Question about Taking Zev to Orzammar.



Who can I take with me that won't cancel out his dialogue? Or does he comment no matter what? I swear Leliana does a verbal ****block to him when I have them both with me.

His essential dialog is not blocked by anyone -- you'll get it when talking to Harrowmont's second.  His comment about the surface dwarves being the only ones left in 100 years, that really depends.  It can randomly be any character who comments at that point.

Edit: I would also suggest NOT taking Oghren at least through the Ortan Thaig (the one with Ruck) as if you end up doing the mercy killing, it's nice hearing ALL that Zevran has to say rather than having Oghren override a couple of those cutscenes.  Hearing the whole thing makes it impossible to be upset with him, whereas just hearing the little bit, it sounds pretty bad.

I know that Oghren will cut out some of his lines in Ruck's cave. This is if you return twice with Zevran to Ruck's cave (be prepared for... action). Wynne will, I believe, cut out his lines when you talk to Filda. I haven't had anyone cut him out when speaking to Dulin Ferender- pretty sure you're supposed to hear what he says there, if you've got him along.
